Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Wireless Charging Case S View Flip Cover Folio - Black

I hardly ever write reviews here, but I'm making an exception this time.Yesterday I took delivery of my Samsung OEM Wireless Charging S-View Case. I have to say, this thing is superb. It meets my expectations, after having paid 57 dollars for it. I wasn't 100% sure it was worth that much but after getting it I know. You def get what you pay for with this thing.The quality is top notch. Props to Samsung for making a very solid feeling case. It feels great and gives the phone a whole new, and pleasant, look and feel. I am highly satisfied by this. The textures and edges feel great. I'm surprised how much I like the feel of this "leather". To top it off it has all the features I was expecting and in fact why I bought it.NFC works, I tested it with my my wife's Note II. Wireless charging works, and better than it did with the Qi card I had. S-view functions properly and I'm surprised how responsive it is to opening and closing. So, as far as the case goes, I couldn't be happier.S-view def needs some help. Overall I find it to be rather limited. There really isn't a whole lot you can do with it. Hopefully some development will take place soon. Even so I have no regrets buying the case.Best case I have ever owned, highest quality case I have ever owned. Good job Samsung. It's a case that feels like it belongs on my 800 dollar phone.

(April 8th, 2014) I just received this wireless charging case for my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 after ordering it on February 8th... and I love it. It is sturdy, yet classy looking, and the wireless charging is great. I don't think it's worth the $70-$80 that they're asking for it though. I also don't think the non-charging version is worth the $60+ either, but I guess Samsung is controlling the pricing. Luckily, I happened to catch it on sale for $43.00, and ordered it at that time. I'm grateful that Amazon kept it on BO and honored the price I paid for it. I also thought it was nice of Amazon to let me keep the wireless charger and magnetic clip attachment until the order was filled. They could of asked me to return it and reorder when the case came in, but they made it easier for me then they really needed too. I highly recommend this case if money is no object, and you're looking for a very nice looking case to go with the Note 3.

This is a very nice product. It looks and feels good, but not great. It works exactly as advertised and adds some protection to the note 3. The s-view feature which sold me on the device however is useless. Just another expensive Samsung gimmick. This is coming from someone who loves and buys Samsung regularly.It does add some thickness to the device. Enough so that the camera is now recessed but not enough to bother me in the least bit. It looses a star for value as I feel it is overpriced for fake leather.

Great cover for your note 3 it looks and functions perfectly the only problem i found is that the cover opens up when u keep the flap open for a long time and it could be a problem for some. .i highly recommend everyone pick up the magnetic clip from spigen, it makes this cover awesome by keeping the flap closed and only opening,when u want.i dont understand why the samsung cover doesnt come with the magnetic clip, the wireless charging works great and is really convinient , just put it on a QI enable pad and it begins charging. If u have a note 3 u need this , highly recommended.

So far my charging case has been really nice. I now just come in and place the phone on the charging unit and it gets changed. If a phone call comes in and I want to move around I don't have to unplug the phone. I just pick it up and use it until the call is completed then place it back on the charging unit. It's great and so far it has worked really well. Since getting this I have decided not to go to the Note 4 since it is working so good and I do not wish to have to purchase this for the Note 4 to maintain not having to plug in the phone to get it recharged.

This was a total waste of effort. Had purchased the charging pad and then finally found the cover...purchased one for my phone as well as my daughter's phone...we soon found that the battery life was lessened by at least 50% and it was difficult to 'center' the phone on the pad...so after a call to Samsung and then to Amazon.com...decided to just return for refund and Amazon.com was awesome in handling the return...just had to print off a label and put both backs back into the original Amazon.com box and then off to the postman...very fast refund to my original purchasing card and now all is well...Thank you, Amazon.com

Got this on time, really easy to put on my note3.went to setting, but nothing much to set up tho.It is So nice, until I had a problem...All of sudden, My phone screen got messed up with making lines and rainbow color.Then phone got shut down and never came back on.I did charge and waited for 30mins. I did change my battery to spare one.I did everything I could do, but my phone was totally dead until I took this view case out and cleaned the conection part(view case and phone).I took this Nice and Fancy case away, cuz I got little scared ;;

Okay, maybe two fatal flaws...This case is sleek, well fitted, and has a very premium feel. I would genuinely be fooled to think it was leather if I didn't know it was faux. It's so realistic that I can even forgive the fake stitching.The cover doesn't stay closed, so I bought the Spigen Magenta clasp. For $10 it makes this case very expensive but it works great and doesn't detract from the premium look and feel of the case.My main gripe, and the reason for giving 3 stars, is the issue with Bluetooth dialing. You cannot initiate a call using the button on your BT headset (or in-car BT) while the cover is closed. Frankly, this sucks. Android took way too long to get BT dialing in the first place, and when it finally arrived it was unreliable. Now that it is finally starting to work well, I can't use it because of a stupid design flaw in my chosen case!
