Eyelets are fine, punch was fine, setting tool was made by cave men.

Did not receive two parts of kit.

4 stars because we couldn't get the piece to work that was supposed to make the hole. Had to cut the hole with scissors. But after that it worked great.

Arrived on time and works great.

1. The hole punch doesn't punch: I tried it on a variety of fabrics, with various hammering techniques on various surfaces e.g. wood, cork etc2. The eyelets split when hammered and I had to seal the sharp edges with epoxy glue3. The holes around them ripped, and the eyelets all fell out, thus ruining the bag I had spent hours making.I am returning for a refund although I am absolute furious at the time and materials this product has wasted.

I used this on a leather hat; the punch left a good, clean hole and the eyelet fitted perfectly inside. The tool was very easy to use and I had the job done in under 5 minutes.

Great little kit. Punch is better quality than most others. The choice of sizes is valuable - I was able to buy the perfect size for my application. It comes without instructions but there's plenty of guidance on the internet, just search on 'using eyelet kit'.

Item was purchased for leather crafting. Punch struggled to cut through Nappa leather. Die is too deep and distorts eyelet. Eyelet punch becomes wedged into die. Eyelet collar does not curl and clamp cleanly. Eyelet is flimsy and easily bent. This item is considered by me not to be fit for purpose for which I purchased it.

Frankly, the punch does not cut the hole. However, I would anywayfavour creating a tighter hole using my own tools. It means the eyelet is really tight. After that, the fitting tools and fastening pieces are excellent. For the price, and the range of sizes, it is a great Prime deal.
