Brilliant choice
I did in depth research before buying this coffee machine because I never had anything like this and decided to go for this one mainly because how easy it is to clean it. Out of all machines this one is easiest to maintain and still offers few variants of coffee for the price. Its not super fancy and actually quite basic but it does black coffee that I usually drink and has option for latte or cappuccino if I have guests that want fancy coffee. It does auto cleaning every time I turn it on and turn it off and cleaning milk frother and brewer is super simple. So far I went trough roughly 3 kilos of coffee with no issues except for one time when it started making crazy long coffee. I did hard reset and there had been no problems since then. So far 5 months with only one small issue that was resolved with press of a button. My next one will, looks like be Beko again.

First impressions - not good, then gets worse
Firstly, and most importantly, the coffee doesn't seem to taste great. Perhaps it's just all a bit new, or my beans are bit tired, I'll wait and see.The instructions this thing comes with are garbage. See page 9 for instructions about 'before first use' - nope, nothing on there at all. Also, you're supposed to be able to hold a button and keep it held to save your preferred amount of water, but that doesn't work. Holding the coffee button does nothing at all.Sleek design though, and the light that comes on when it's making coffee is a nice touch. I'll give it a week and decide whether I keep it 😳Update: 1 week, seems the coffee it's making is OK. I worked out how to set the fav water amount too. Press the cup button to make a coffee as usual and let go. Then when it's grinding the beans, press and hold the same button again, and keep it held until the desired amount of water is reached, then release. So helpful I had to find this out myself because of the useless instructions.Update: After a few months, it's now grinding twice as much as it used to, and just dumping it at the back of the machine, meaning not only is it absolutely running through, and wasting loads of beans, but the inside of the machine is full of unused ground coffee after every brew. Cheap garbage.

So far, so good
I bought this on the basis of the excellent Which recommendation and the fact that it is so simple. So far it seems to make great coffee, not the best but fine.Good features are the lid on the water tank (opening backwards or forwards, making it easier to fill at the back of the worktop) and the spillage tray which can be removed without the grounds container coming out too.The control buttons are simple, large coffee cup = weaker coffee, simply same amount of coffee with more water. However this seems to be too weak to be useful and if you reduce the water (which I gather you can) you'd simply have two buttons producing the same strength. So we use the shorter shot of coffee button and use the hot water button to dilute if required. It would have been good to have slightly more control over the coffee produced, but overall it is a remarkably inexpensive bean-to-cup machine for a simple cup of strong coffee. There is also a version with a steam wand but as we already have a decent sized milk frothing jug this seemed unneccessary. In the past it seems to have been the milk steam feature which has gone wrong on most our bean-to-cup machines. It's quite a nice looking machine, plain and mainly black, though a white one would have looked better in our kitchen.

Nice budget machine
I wanted a bean to cup machine but didn’t want to pay the earth. After reading the reviews of several different brands, I settled on this Beko machine. It looks minimal and sleek and goes in my kitchen nicely. As others have said, the instructions are a bit basic and it took some messing about and a YouTube video before I figured out how to program the buttons for dispensing the coffee. Basically, press either the medium or large espresso shot, depending what you want, then press and hold the same button again right after, keeping it pressed in until the desired amount of coffee is poured. It’ll beep twice when you let it go, to tell you that it’s been stored in memory. Next time you only need to press the button once to pour the same amount. Anyway, it takes some messing about with the grind and strength of shot, but that’s down to personal taste. Once that’s been sorted, it makes a decent coffee. Far better than my pod machine and a mile better than the instant rubbish i usually have to drink. My only complaint is that it doesn’t make it quite hot enough for my liking. I know that having it too hot burns the beans, but again, that’s just my personal taste. Although the instructions say not to, i use warm water instead of cold in the tank and i find the finished brew much more to my liking. All in all a decent machine at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend
