The North Face Borealis TNF Black One Size

This is by far the best backpack I've ever had. I was a little worried about the size as it is hard to tell from pictures, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got it and it was indeed very large. I was able to pack it as a weekend bag with no problems, whereas my old bag wouldn't have been able to fit my toiletry bag. The pockets for the laptop and tablet are great. It's very nice knowing exactly where to put those pieces of technology. In addition to using it as a weekend bag, I've also used it as my work bag. Again, it is great. I can easily fit everything for work in it with room to spare.I've had zero issues with it's construction. It seems to be well made and the stitching is pretty good. It is NOT waterproof, but that shouldn't be a deal breaker.Overall it's a great bag. I highly recommend it.

Lifetime Warranty. These don't stick out, so you won't be knocking down fine art at the museum. Therefore, they can't be over filled-- which is good. If you're looking to shove in your DSLR, forget it. Great for books, laptops and finest quality and brand of backpack on the planet. Although, Under Armour comes in a close second.I surmise it would be perfect for high school, college, and world travel.Better than a TimBuk2. The biggest reason is T2 uses PV for it's lining. I have an old, monogrammed Eddie Bauer travel canvas bag with PV and after 15 years the PV plastic has rotted, deteriated off. Bag is useless. Northface is awesome for the backpack, and looks just amazing.There is a lifetime warranty for a reason. If a zipper breaks (unlikely) you can take it in to any Northface store and they will fix it. Great backpack for the price! The quality is great. The tactile and rugged zippers, pouches, straps, and the entire bag itself is outstanding. The size is perfect for students who will be carying a laptop, 2-3 one inch binders, 1-2 folders, a composition notebook, and much more space for smaller supplies such as pens and pencils. Even with all this room, the bag is not bulky at all. The pack fits me, a 5'10" male, perfectly. The straps and the back are completely supported and comfortable. It makes it easy to carry for long periods at a time. Overall, a great backpack to recommend to all people whether using it for hiking or for daily school travel.

I bought this backpack in 2016 becuase a friend recommended it being “the strongest backpack”. They were right I still use the backpack everyday after 2 years there is plenty of storage with 2 big compartments and 1 small. There is a laptop protector inside where you can perfectly fit your computer, I use this for everyday school and on the weekends I take it hiking and camping. The backpack truly is the strongest one I’ve ever owned too, it is such a great backpack and I am never moving to another brand for them!

I've had two of this model of NF pack and both are just awesome. It's a smidge heavy as an everyday laptop & personal gear schlep bag, but the advantage to all that padding and the outback-grade shoulder straps is that you can load it up with forty pounds of stuff and carry it all day comfortably. The Jirayu organizer insert (available on Amazon) slips right into the main compartment and makes for an excellent all-in-one combo.I've used NF gear for years, including for serious high-alpine hiking and climbing. They make excellent kit.

High quality product.However, it is a bit too deep for daily use, such as carrying it to school. If you have a binder, its okay. But if you put a stack of paper in the main compartment, the paper would bend because it does not have pockets to keep letter sized documents secure. The belly part of the main compartment is wide, but the bottom of the main compartment narrows down to the width of a letter size paper. So documents might also tilt to one side.The bag provides very good protection for my 13-inch relatively thin laptop. It fits tightly in the laptop pocket, but I doubt a thicker 15-inch will fit easily.

I have had this backpack since 2016. I used it throughout most of college & after. It has traveled with me all around the world & is still holding strong!! Great quality and perfect for hiking. After 5 years of daily use it's got a bit of wear & tear - but overall has held up great!

Since everyone had these, I decided to get myself one. And now I understand why everyone has one. This backpack looks small but it can actually fit A LOT of stuff inside (but don't put everything in there because it can kill your back). To lighten the weight there are fasteners that you can buckle in the front, which I think looks really cool. If you're a guy, this backpack will go well with your casual clothing. I really think this backpack is worth for its price, it will last you a very long time.
