Anime fan delight with the bugs!
Game revolves around a girl who aces her exam and becomes the class representative that ultimately fails when Kuu eats the orb she was supposed to get. She finds out that her favorite curry place might close due to a newly open curry chain nearby, and wants to help save her cherished curry hangout. The story revolves around the two when they are joined by Puni (a "curry denpa" girl) and Etanya (the mysterious fortune teller and goth loli).Graphics: Dated and some of the elements reminded me of bishoujo games. The Japanese voices (yes, it is not English dubbed nor is the option available) occur when rather than mouth movements, the characters just expand and contract like balloons most of the time. Most of the time, they just say the first syllable or word of a sentence and that's it.Replayability: Low and if there are multiple endings then I still will not even bother playing it againMusic: Okay, but it gets repetitive at certain points that you don't hear it at all while playing and is forgotten easily. I think the bad Engrish music for demon prince Gigadis is funny as hell (pun intended) but otherwise easily forgetable.Anime tidbits:-I heard the "Even my father never hit me" meme from Gundam-A Nyarlahotep scroll is found in the dungeons (refer to "Haiyore! Nyaruko-san" and H.P. Lovecraft)-Kuu is a definite knock-off of "Mokona" from Magic Knight Rayearth (CLAMP). Except rather than getting stuff from it, it swallows everything.-Speaking of 3 girls being featured, same thing in Magic Knight Rayearth except only 1 is playable-The "Queen" dress reminded me of Saber's costume in Fate/Stay NightBugs:-My biggest peeve with this game is that the game freezes during mid-dungeon that you have to replay the entire dungeon again-The save system is not the greatest and you cannot save while in the dungeon!Overall:I gave up on the game on the third freeze while doing a 40 level dungeon (I was at 39). It gets frustrating when you cannot even finish a level that you slowly work on and the payoff is a big letdown from a buggy dungeon freeze. The story is interesting, the comedy is solid with a bit of slapstick. I still feel that it is cheap and that further beta tests should have been done for a final product.Tips:-Make curry for yourself frequently so that you can level up quickly per dungeon-When entering a dungeon, make sure that you have rice and spices available (you can get main ingredients in the dungeon)-Use "Wet Scroll" or "Energy drink" to replenish Kuu's health entirely-Avoid feeding Kuu "Boom Scrolls" or "Spices" since they will either knock it out or hurt it.-Use spells/skills sparingly depending if you need them for bosses or tight situations-Use the tunnels so that enemies can get to you one at a time-Kuu does help in a fight but make sure it is with 1 or 2 enemies

The curry gods have spoken
okay,i have read most of the reviews of this game here on amazon, some people who who reviewed the game and gave it 1 star don't even have the verified purchase logo,so you cant trust that they actually purchased let alone played the actual game, anyway i went ahead and purchased the limited edition version of this game, mostly because i try to buy limited editions when possible, and the price i paid for the limited edition was only 30 dollars, which is very cheap,i couldn't argue with that price so i went ahead and got it,well the game arrived a few days ago,and i have put in around 15 hours into it,in my honest opinion the game is good,of course it isn't the best game out there by any stretch but the story was funny enough to keep me entertained, some things about this game like the menus and such are not perfect, but i didn't let that take away from the fun i had playing it,and i'm still not done playing,i will for sure keep going back and try to collect more trophies in the game, also the limited edition has some weird items, but i thought they were pretty cool,i will never open them, but i cant complain,it was cheap and it was well worth the price i paid for it,anyway,i recommend this game to anyone who just wants a relaxing and funny game to play, you wont regret getting it,though the game isn't for everyone.

I can't think of any good curry puns to use in a title. Great game though!
This game is adorable. There's not a super deep story involved, but it's still enough that you don't get bored. The dialogue is amusing, and the characters are all lovable. The game play is pretty basic; you go to different dungeons to collect ingredients for The Legendary Curry, fight monsters in turned based combat with some of them dropping items for you to use, and return to town with the items to sell and whatnot. Each time you enter a dungeon, you start at level 1, and with only the items you brought with you. Death results in you losing all levels and items you've obtained, and you return to town. The dungeons are all randomly generated, so no two dungeon runs are ever the same (Though the forests leading to the actual dungeons are always the same layout.).The plate, spoon and bib that come with the Limited Edition version are also really cute. Also, a heads up if you get some of the extra outfits from the Playstation store, you have to connect to the internet EVERY time you start the game and want to use them.Overall, I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves sweet little games with simple game play and replayability.

JRPG
This is a really fun little JRPG thatll kill quite a bit of time for anyone who loves them. It has a fun quirky story line and tons of content. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves rpgs. The only thing I would change is the game resets you to level one when you leave any dungeon, but lets you keep items and weapons. So when you start a new dungeon or even return to a dungeon you left you will be level 1 again. This gives the feeling of a lack of accomplishment rather than the thrill of getting a higher and higher level with new abilities, but it also keeps the game fresh as your constantly building your character with no point where the leveling seems to take forever and tedious grinds. I'm not really sure how I feel about this mechanic in the game but its there like it or not.
