Lifesaver! No setup! Incredible replacement for our long lost remote.
THIS IS PERFECTION.We have a Samsung 7 Series 65" TV, just for reference. I had no idea what the model number was and our TV is mounted to the wall so I wasn't gonna unmount it to get that info.We lost our remote one night and I'm pretty sure either myself or my boyfriend accidentally threw it away. The remote for our cable doesn't allow us to access Disney+ so we were so upset about it.As soon as it came in I put batteries in and we were golden. The issue I saw most people talking about with the Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video buttons not working I noticed right away but out TV showed a router connectivity error and all i had to do was re-connect our TV to the home internet to get those buttons working with no issues. The remote is very responsive, no delays, no stickiness with the buttons.I am completely satisfied and highly recommend this item!!

Good replacement but limitations
This remote works well expect when you hold down the volume button, it should go to fast to bring the volume up or down quickly. Instead you have to press it up and down manually. Not helpful if you need fast action especially if the volume is load and the kids are asleep.

I can finally use my TV and hopefully throw the "smart" remote in the GARBAGE!
omg Omg OMG!!!10 frakking stars!!!This remote is the bomb!!!It has buttons for so many features of the Samsung Tizen TVs in just ONE PRESS !!No more surfing thru levels and levels of menus and screens just to change HDMI inputs! This IS my new favorite thing!! Besides the QN800B 8K 85" TV, of course (a literal steal at $2500 bbuy black Friday)! It seems completely compatible with my TV.There are various flavors of the BN59-01315 There's a 1315A, 1315J, 1315B, etc.Mainly varying by the assortment of buttons they provide. We struggled for a couple of weeks with the "Smart" remote and almost wanted to return the TV and wait for a sale on a Sony 8K. The Samsung interface and menus are practically unbearable and a HUGE handicap to the new Samsung TVs.After reading that the UK version of the 800B provided TWO types of remote, I went searching but never could find out which remote Samsung included in the UK. :(Finally, I tried AVForums attempting to ferret out some info. I eventually found a thread that mentioned complaints about a new BN59-01315 remote which had dropped the GUIDE button in favor of a Disney+ shortcut 🤮.That gave me a start. So I went to look for a 01315 remote which includes the GUIDE button and found many many different versions. I finally chose the one that I felt had the most control features (guessing that my 8K flagship model would probably support most of them). I did a lot of praying over the next 6 days while we waited for the new remote to arrive. So far we are exceedingly pleased with the range, responsiveness and yes,the compatibility with our new 2022 Samsung 8K TV. THIS was the one thing that was missing from the bundle to make it a joy to watch and to use.Unless you've experienced the frustration of having to scroll through hundreds of useless 'Samsung TV" channels to get to the local news, you can never conceive of the relief and joy we feel being able to just type 5-1 and jump straight to what we want to watch!Switching to Playstation...press the SOURCE button and viola! Your ready to play a game.Plus, I Iike the traditional volume/mute and channel buttons much much better! The new "Smart" remote is a FAIL along with Tizen. Both huge FAIL.I know this sounds crazy to people who have not experienced the dissappointing and frustrating kluge that is TIZEN.I couldn't recommend this remote more. The 01315A model is PROBABLY the best version of this remote if you want the most quick access buttons to control your new (or old) Samsung TV.Thank you Amazon for making our Christmas complete!(Genuine Samsung remote can also be ordered from bbuy customer service for just a few more bucks)

Good price, good replacement remote
I was hesitant to buy it at first because of the price. Its cheap that it might not meet the standards. But once it was delivered to me, i immediately tried it on. No set up needed and it works like the OE. Overall, satisfied with this replacement remote.

Not quite like the original in operation
You have to give these guys credit for making this remote look exactly like the Samsung (except for the Samsung logo, which is missing). Operationally though, there is a world of difference, mostly not good. Visually this remote appears to be identical to the model that came with my 2020 Samsung 58 inch UD-7000, except that this remote has a Hulu button instead of Samsung Plus button, and the identifying mark says this is a BN59-01315A instead of BN59-01315J. Yes it does 'work' in the broadest sense of the term, but there the similarity ends.First the central enter button does not have the two raised nubs to make it possible to tell by feel that you are on it, as on the J model. The biggest problem however, is with the force required to make the buttons operate. The original Samsung only requires a very light press, this remote requires very forceful presses, or nothing happens, consequently you may find yourself pressing the buttons multiple times to get an action. This is compounded by the fact that even with the original remote the TVs response to the remote is sluggish. Annoying!!! In contrast to the original also, holding the volume or channel buttons down does not cause a continuous movement through those actions, so a single press is required for each small step of volume up or down, or channel change...annoying. Likewise the arrow keys are single motion also rather than continuous if held. You may consider that a benefit, but generally I don't find that helpful. There may be other operational issues I have not experienced, but frankly that is enough to kill this remote for me. I returned it having found I can get an original directly from Samsung for $12 and $8 shipping. Since I watch a lot of YouTube, the operation of the buttons is a big deal, since you have to constantly manipulate buttons to move through it expeditiously. My wife has already complained that this remote makes the arthritis in her hands much worse! Now I'm not saying I love the original, I think that remote is too small, and poorly balanced. I think its buttons are too small and close together, and too many are the same 'color' (black - making it hard to tell them apart), and particularly the MUTE button should be orange or yellow to stand out, so your finger can dive for it exactly when you want to silence the inane commercials. Also, the color buttons near the bottom of the remote do not seem to have any function at all, at least on this TV, that is a waste.... Hardly a perfect remote, but it does operate better than this intended replacement.
