OSP ABY Guitar Amplifier Selection Foot Switch

Solid. It works great for splitting guitar signal to different signal chains or both simultaneously, or splitting between my amp and the house PA system. the latter may introduce a ground loop problem and this pedal has no ground lift but that's my only criticism. It works without power, but with a 9v battery the blue LED indicators work which is really helpful And doesn't drain the battery to quickly. I would like to get another one and would recommend to others.

A simple switchbox that works as it should. It looked like the Morley ABY box but a lot cheaper. I figured it might come from the same factory that made the Morley (China) so I ordered it instead of the ART Coolswitch for the same price. It didn't come with any instructions but it is self explanatory, you can't mess it up. I inserted a 9V battery, plugged two amps on A & B and my guitar in the middle and started stomping on the switches. Yup, worked just as advertised. You can switch from one amp to the next and for good measure, both of them at the same time! I didn't hear any noise added by the box nor any coloration to the original tone or character of each amp.It's not a true bypass like other boxes selling for 2 to 4 times as much as the OSP but it works for me without a hitch so far. You can also plug 2 guitars and one amp if you want to switch from Fender to Gibson using the same amp for example. The sound of the footswitch is not picked up by the amp so you won't hear a clicking sound coming from the amp when you switch from A to B or vice versa. That's useful if you're recording. Right now, I'm using one amp and I use the box to switch from my amp's "normal" input and "bright" input. If you own A Vox AC15, you can assign the normal input to A and the top boost to B. One for rhythm and one for solos! Works for my Bugera V55. That's what I use the box for. Both my Fender & Traynor amps only have that bright switch button you press on the panel.........too bad! Approximately the size of your typical effects pedal, it will fit right in your pedalboard. It works well and costs just $40, I can't complain!

Rating this 4 stars only because I opened it up to put in a 9 volt battery and....no plug to connect the battery to!Doesn't affect the purpose of the box, the battery is only to power the LED indicator lights. I use it to run a keyboard and a guitar into a single input and it does the job. Switching is noiseless and I don't detect any effect to the tone. Solid construction, good bang for the buck.If wanted, I can plug in a 9v adapter to power the LEDs...but I bought this because I THOUGHT I could just use a battery and avoid running another power cord. Again, it still does the job it's supposed to just fine.

I received his parked a few weeks ago I've been running to have sex with it on each Channel its well-constructed if you have a power supply because it'll need one or can operate without one it hooks up to my power brick and I just run the cables through it and I've got two amps running the Lord it's a heck of a lot better price in the Morley and some of the others out there the construction is pretty good I would recommend it

Product is made of metal so it is durable. It can be run with no power and does not color the sound of the signal. Works great for intended purposes!

Got tired of swapping cable between 2 amps so I bought this. Does the job but there is some signal pass through. I keep one amp on a clean setting and my second amp on a distorted setting but when I switch over to the distorted channel I get horrible noise through the clean amp. Noise sounds like an ungrounded single coil pick up noise. Then when I switch back to the clean channe, the noise goes down to zero. When I have both amps active is does sound nice and clean and it gives me an incredible sound!! I use a BOSS equalizer and full range speaker. Good for home use but not for professional musicians.

I love this cute little ABY switch. It works very well with my guitar gear setup with two multi-effect processor boards. I like it so much that I ordered another one as a backup for adding another effect path in the future. It's perfect with no noise whatsoever.

it looks great, the LEDs are bright but the only signal coming through is a nasty hum on both channels. Same cables don’t give me any other problems, only with this box in my configuration. Didn’t make any difference having the power supply in or out. Save your money.
