I've been using a coil wire 7-4 for five years that was 'made' by the people that installed my Blue Ox. I don't think it ever worked correctly, and after several attempts to have it fixed, decided to look for a new one.. I anticipated paying more for a good one, and was pleasantly surprised to find the lower price on this one. This one fits snuggly into the female receptacle on the RV and Jeep, and the tab on top allows the receptacle cover to hold it in place, unlike the one we had, that never quite fit right. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase, and might buy an extra, because it's always good to have a backup.. At this price, that's not going to break the bank. I'm pleased with this purchase, and as I already mentioned, might just buy another one. I would recommend this to other RV'ers!

I expected any product from Roadmaster to be well made and I am not disappointed.

This is to replace the cord that was shredded as we traveled ( it had come loose).
