Very satisfied
I purchased this chest of drawers for my 5 year old daughters bedroom as a way to re do her room, so she’d sleep in it. This dresser is nice and sturdy. I love the way it looks. It’s something that she will grow with. It doesn’t look babyish at all. I did not however put it together. A friend of mine did who enjoys putting pieces together *thank God*. The drawers are so deep. I was able to put summer clothes in one drawer and fall clothes in another drawer with room to spare in each. Upon arrival, one of the pieces did arrive damaged. Between the seller and manufacturer, everything was resolved. Do not hesitate to purchase this piece of furniture. You will not be disappointed. The beauty of it alone is enough for me. Also the drawers glide easily.

Color is very different than photos, but still a nice piece.
The unit I received was actually Sauder, not Child Craft. Same item, but the Sauder version sells for much less. It is solid and looks very good. It took me 2 1/2 hours to assemble, but was not difficult at all with clear instructions. The color is nothing like the photos. It is darker and much closer to walnut with no hint of red that you would expect with a cherry finish.

Good for its price
Particle board - not hardwood, but that's what you get for this price range. The build is sturdy, though the handles are a bit flimsy. Assembly is quite simple!

OK, but not comparable to other furniture in this price range.
Unlike the crib and changing table, this is completely particle board - low quality particle board that has chunks falling off of it if you're not very careful while assembling. It also doesn't match the changing table and crib in this same "Redmond" series. It is pretty much the same color, but a totally different wood grain. The top edge and corners are also oddly sharp. It is, sturdy once put together, although doing so took MUCH longer than any other piece of assemble-yourself furniture we've ever gotten. If you do decide to get this, check under the name "Sauder Carson Forge Chest in Washington Cherry" as well - it's currently less expensive and exactly the same product. I purchased the "Child Craft" version from Target, and it comes in a box that only has the "Sauder" name brand and other product name on it.
