This oil diffuser is excellent and definitely worth the cost. I purchased this diffuser as a Mother's day gift, over a month ago (May 2016). I was at my mother's house when it was delivered and I set it up, for her the day it arrived. My mother really loves and enjoys this diffuser. After seeing this diffuser in action, my aunt and my sister also want to get one (I'm actually about to order 1 for my aunt). I also really agree with all of the positive reviews that this product has. This diffuser was very easy to set up and I was able to get it going in under 5 minutes. I especially enjoyed the wide variety of light color options that this oil diffuser provides, so you can easily choose and select a different color whenever you like. The light, in combination with the steam/mist, really helps to create a nice, lightly fragranced, and relaxing environment. This diffuser can easily be carried from room to room too. At night it can be positioned near your bed, and placed in the living room when you wake up. My mother actually took this with her, while traveling, and used it in her RV at night. This diffuser can be used with your favorite essential oils. Simply add water to the line indicated within the diffuser and add a few drops of essential oil. I would definitely recommended this product as it has worked exactly as described. After over a month of daily use it still works perfectly and there hasn't been a single problem. I hope everyone enjoys this product as much as my mom and I do. :)

This diffuser is amazing! I have been using it nightly for a couple of weeks now and It is absolutely wonderful! I would like to now share with you a list of my pros and cons regarding this gem of an item. Pros -When filled up to the max level, I have been able to get 12 hours of mist time on the 30 second intermittent setting. I could not believe how much it exceeded the lasting time! -It continuously puffs out the scent from the essential oil. I have another diffuser that I use at work that only puffs out the scent for a very short amount of time. It then just becomes a humidifier. -The ability to change the brightness of the LED is a pretty nice feature! -The intermittent feature is something I really wish my work diffuser had because it is really nice to have it continuously going without it actually continuously going. -No leaking! I have never had an issue with it leaking thus far, nor does it leave condensation anywhere. -It is fairly effortless to refill. It takes a slight twist to get it on and off which keeps it securely locked in place and prevents spilling if knocked over. -It is a quality item. Cons -I do wish the power button did not constantly stay on when the LED light is off. It is BRIGHT! I like to be in complete darkness when I go to bed, so it took me a few days to get adjusted to having to sleep with a little bit of light from the diffuser. -It would be lovely if there were a faster way to turn off the LED light (and the loud beep each time you cycle through individual colors). With this, you have to cycle through every individual color (and brightness) to turn it off. The one I use at work is fairly nice in that you press it on and it cycles through all colors, you press the button again and it stays on the color it was on when pressed, and when pressed again it turns it off. That would be nice to see with this one. This thing is wonderful. I looked for quite a while reading reviews on multiple diffusers and the features they contained, and even though this doesn't have all those bells and whistles, I am so glad that I went with this diffuser. It is a great product that runs beautifully.

I bought two of these to diffuse Mold fighting essential oils in a "thieves-like" blend I make myself. Because in sub tropics mold is ever present, rainy season is bad, everything will pick up the smell and it sickens me in all ways. It is not detected by everyone but I am super sensitive and my detections pick up a problem before it becomes a real problem. There is no visible mold in this house, it is well maintained but outside one can see the black mold on fences and pavement. These mold spores can and do wreak havoc in the body and mind, they are not to be trifled with at all. They can make you sick for years and doctors will not detect this, will misdiagnose, nor ask about this here in America. European doctors are more savvy and will always check you for mold. One should upon a slight detection by the nose or eye, go all out to clear the mold. Prevention is the cure. I read that certain essential oils diffused can counter mold and I tried it with 2 units of this product and it works. I need two more for 2 more rooms. It is a fair price for a good unit. My test was: in the bathroom the window is kept open all the time hence humid all the time even with a ceiling fan running, from the high humidity in Florida, it is inescapable at a consistent 90% for months at a time. We do not have central air, only window units so the AC doesn't reach the bathroom. One day I noticed a bathtowel had picked up the mold smell in the air, when I put the towel to my face after a hot bath the smell was clear, not strong but there. This means everything would also have the mold as well being fine spores that fill the air. I declared war. I searched online for what others do and it seems the first easiest course is to mix mold fighting essential oil blends such as "Thieves" in a spray bottle with water and simply spray all surfaces which I did. I used my ''thieves'' blend and added lots of clove and cinnamon and sprayed the walls, the fabrics, the curtains, sofas, everything. One must be careful with clove essential oil, I broke out in burning sensations, but I had used a whole 2 ounce bottle in the mix. It was too much, but I thought the oil was weak because it was old. I wouldn't do that again. :-) I was really really determined to kill off the mold then and there. This was the first thing I could do until I got proper diffusers to work all day and night. I bought 2 of these units and put one in my room and one in the bathroom and diffuse oils day and night, I simply keep refilling it. I do not use merely 6 drops, I use far more. I make a 2 oz bottle of my blend of "thieves" oil, and add FOUR DROPPERS FULL to a small bottle and add 2 cups of distilled water, shake hard, and this is what I fill the diffusers with when I need to fill them. It is NOT a strong scent in the house at all, barely noticeable. Maybe the house or air is sucking up all the purifying essential oils. In two days I took another bath and grabbed a towel and the smell was not there. I can walk outside of the house and when I walk back in the air is cleaner. I gave the house the scent test and all seems to be clear. I keep everything clean and dry using only natural products for everything from body to household, organic and pure. I still mix essential oils in a spray bottle, making a large amount and spray the outdoor porches and pavements. Essential oils are the vital spirits of plants, trees and flowers which do so many things from cleaning and literally detoxing, to creating positive, once forgotten emotions and feelings of peace and calm. They are spirits of every nuance of feeling from inspiration, to soothing-ness, to reflection, nostalgia, to joy....and everything in betwixt....and when in Nature as we were meant to be in Gardens, these oils from trees and flowers would be in the air all the time cleaning and making us feel good. But in cities and urban places we need to reintroduce these vital essences and healing powers of Nature in whatever ways we can to create more balance and healing. Without the essences of plants, the nasties grow and infest. I have been using pure essential oils for over 30 years and will never use anything else. You want quality above all else. Find a good source. I like Nature's Gift, they have high integrity and quality, knowledge, high standards, fair prices, and are honest about their oils telling you when they are good or not based on their sources growing conditions and seasons. I do not get anything from them this is purely my experience from years of buying and seeking out the best oils and people to do business with long term. There is no need to go with huge MLM companies like Youngs, he does not own ''quality'' oils. One must simply self educate, sniff them out with diligence and veracity. I will order 2 more of these units and keep these running all the time. I want only a clean and pure wonderful smelling environment around me cleaning and nourishing me and my environment with the spirits of essential oils from plants, trees and flowers. Again, use only pure essential oils. Fragrant oils are chemicals and poisonous and fool the senses and should be avoided, they are the jokers choice, they do nothing but add toxins to the air and body. Only natural oils have cleaning powers and healing powers for home, body and mind and spirit.

Purchased December 2017 and still going strong with daily (and nightly) use! Very easy to use. I fill to the fill line only with tap water add my favorite essential oil, wipe clean with a soft paper towel after each use and wash it out using a bit of dish liquid once a week. I love this diffuser so much that over the past 2 years I have bought it (and the larger size this company offers) multiple times as gifts. This sits on my nightstand right next to my bed, it is quiet and puts out a lot of amazingly fragrant mist. It is also a great nightlight. I love the changing colors or you can set it to the color of your choice or to no lights at all. UPDATE 2022: still going strong! More than I could have ever expected from such an inexpensive diffuser. It is still in use day and night for the past 4+ years. I do clean it regularly as the manufacturer recommends following their instructions. I use both essential and fragrance oils with just plain tap or sometimes purified water. It has turned out to be a great diffuser that I can highly recommend buying it time and again as a gift.

I figured I'd wait until I had this a minute before posting a review. I've had it a week and it was great the first couple of days, now it's meh. I'll either return it or keep it for the bathroom or travel. Pros: Strong mist output, top is easy to get on and off, generally runs to specified time for each setting, and it carries well. Cons: While the mist output is decent, the mist falls pretty bad. Some because the opening is on the front rather than top middle, but usually when mist falls, the diffuser isn't breaking the water droplets up enough to disperse in the air evenly. Which leads me to this: I feel like I waste too much oil in it. Because of the mist fall, I don't really smell it anywhere unless I'm right over it or in the space like 2 feet around it. I feel like I'm just putting oil in it that isn't even breaking up enough to smell if that makes sense. I could smell peppermint oil in it, in the entire room the first couple days, now not so much. It's also been auto shutting off with more water left in it these past few days, compared to when I first got it. Other than that, it's quiet, blends in, and is a decent diffuser for starting out, but I'd rather spend a little more to get a better diffuser considering the price of pure oils. I received a smiley daisy hibiscus diffuser today that I ordered and the difference is almost night and day!

This is a lovely product to have and does its main function well. I use it everyday. The only small complaints I have are: 1. The light doesn't fade smoothly. When the colors change, they should fade into each other very smoothly and effortlessly. However, you can see the light frames (if that makes sense) as its changing. It would be nice if it fades smoother, giving off a more peaceful ambiance. For this reason, I actually don't use the light feature very much, I keep it off. It could be possible that I got a defective product, I don't know. 2. The mechanism for refilling water is far from ideal. I mean, you could easily open the top cover and refill it with water using the nice measuring cup given. But the thing with diffusers/humidifiers is that you have to rinse and clean the water chamber everyday to rid the bacteria and mineral deposits. In order to clean it you would want to unplug the wire and take it to the kitchen/bathroom sink. The problem with this product however is that it is an absolute pain to remove the cable before taking it to the sink for rinsing. The cable is tucked under the product and you have no choice but to yank it hard and bend the cable to remove it. Ideally, this kind of product should have the water chamber separate from the part where the cable gets attached so that one can easily detach it from the rest of the product to go and clean it.

The range of colours for the lights is a great feature. I find this distributes the scent really nicely in a room as well! I'm very happy so far!

I am giving it 3 starts not because of performance but due to misleading pictures. You only get 1 diffuser!! I would have gone with the vcsting 2 pack for same price. It is super quiet, which is very nice at night. My concern is that is looks very similar to alot of brands out there, holan, vcsting etc. so am concerned about durability. if it doesn't last way longer, not worth the money, when you can buy 2 for same price.

I've had it for a fairly long time and its still working.
