Actron Bosch SP0F000050 Style Line 2" Mechanical Vacuum/Boost Gauge (Black Dial Face, Black Bezel)

I installed this on my 1996 K2500 6.5 diesel. It's great, especially for the price. Only problem I encountered is that they are stingy with the included roll of tubing and on my truck it is stretched tight to reach from the intake plenum, through the firewall to the dash. I like that the backlighting on this one is incandescent rather than LED so it can be dimmed. I spliced the backlight wire into the dimmer wire that goes to the radio and it works well, not too bright at night like some aftermarket stuff. The black face blends nicely with the dash, and the Bosch name looks cool even if it is made in China.

Installed on my son’s 1984 Mercedes 300D and works perfect. Needle is bright and easy to read against the black background. The line sent with it was too short so we had to add some but that wasn’t bad. Would definitely recommend

I bought this Bosch mechanical vacuum/boost gauge for my truck because I wanted a simple, reliable way to monitor boost without overcomplicating the setup. It does exactly what I needed it to do. The gauge has a clean look, the black face and bezel blend in well, and it is easy to read at a glance. I like mechanical gauges for certain things because they are straightforward, responsive, and do not require a bunch of extra electronics to tell me what the engine is already doing. Installation was manageable, and once hooked up, it worked like it should. It gives me useful boost information while driving, especially on grades, under load, or when I just want to keep an eye on how the truck is behaving. It is not some flashy high-end gauge, but that is fine. It is simple, functional, and looks right. For a basic vacuum/boost gauge, this is a solid choice.

Gauge didnt come zerod out

It did the job. If you know your way around your car it should be a very easy install. Nothing fancy. Wired it up to my headlights. Turns on whenever i turn on my headlights. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it rattles from time to time. And I feel like the light should be a little brighter. All in all its worth the money.

The plumbing is not set up for an auto. There is no nipple for the vacuum line, and the supplied plastic hose is maybe for some kind of toy or something. Now I have to go to the hardware store to get the fittings I need, and the auto parts store to get the hose I need. It might be cheaper to throw it away than to set it up.

Worked well for my backhoe. Plumbed into intake elbow by drilling and tapping to add an npt compression fitting.

The item arrived with parts missing & obvious signs that item had previously been fitted. Disappointing.

Great quality. Basic tools for install. Compared it to a much more expensive guage and it was dead accurate.

Had this boost gauge in the car for about 2 years. Its still going good with no issues. The way it lights up is not great but at the price point you cant expect too much. No exotic materials just a simple gauge that does exactly what its supposed to do.

Arrived with the needle pointing to +6psi right in the box. Junk. Will try and get a refund.
