Silver Aluminum Air Intake System w/Filter Compatible with Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 11-14

Great bang for the buck mod, installed on a 2013 V6 A/T with the highway gears (3:23s?). This piece delivers, the car definitely responded and now sounds more throaty and has absolutely picked up some power. Due to the tall gearing it has picked up serious power in the mid-range. Traveling around 60 or so and mash the pedal this thing is very impressive, it squats and lifts the nose and flat hauls down the road! No other mods to this car. My wife loves it (her car) and she is constantly flooring it now. No check engine light and installation went pretty smooth. Highly recommend this mod based on the performance, it works. The construction is decent, yeah it could be prettier maybe but it doesn't look bad. I read some reviews where people had issues with the clamps, they are cheap but they did work ok for me. As well, the price compared to the big name intakes is a no brainer. I have a competitor intake on my Mach 1 which was nearly triple the price of this. The prices the other intakes are commanding are entirely over inflated. Bottom line, any buyers on the fence out there over this purchase pull the trigger, you will love it.

Did tons of research and read tons of reviews on CAIs, finally decided to go with this one because of the low price and boy I'm more than happy with my decision! Compared to my buddys JLT intake that he bought for something like $300, this unit literally does the same job at a fraction of the price.Quality:The clamps are sorta cheap but worked fine for me, have started to rust in some spots that are barley visible after only 4 months, will be replacing in the future if more rust develops.The pipes themselves are nice quality, they are kinda thin but then again so is ever other big name brand. Does heat up after long periods of driving.The filter is cheap but does the job, for some reason i feel as if it's not filtering anything because the color is still bright red and doesn't look dirty at all, can easily be replaced with any other brand filter for cheap.Heat shield works perfectly for me, I dont know what the people who were complaining about not being able to close their hoods because of it were talking about, works great for me.Installation:It could've been easier with some instructions, but anyone who has any common sense should be able to figure it out within an hour. Hat to remove plastic cover on top of radiator, then factory air box, then two other oval shaped plastic prices that didnt come off with the air box. First install heat shield and bolt up, piece together the unit itself outside the car to make life easier, attach maf sensor and tubes, feed unit into throttle body and the hole in the heat shield and lastly add on filter. Highly recommend using costomer photos to install, makes life easier. Took me about an hour and a half just because I dropped a socket into my engine bay and took forever to find it..Overall:Great product, makes your engine sound like a monster with a lovely whoosh sound every time you step on the gas. The sound is so addicting, wish I would've bought earlier. Seriously, if you're still on the fence about this product, it's a must buy, trust me you wont stop flooring it after this bad boy is installed.

A little difficult to install, took about 3 hours to finish , had a friend come help me a bit. After installation, I can tell the response is more better for sure , gives my car a little more deeper, meaner sound to it (CAI IS THE ONLY MOD I HAVE DONE SO FAR ) and you can hear a little whistle sound coming out of the CAI. Pretty impressed for the price and quality.

Loved this one! Was an easy install. Ive only recently got into moddifying and fix cars so I have little experience and was able to do this my self. I had some issues getting heat shield in but it fit well once you find its spot. No instructions were actually included but that was expected reading the other reviews. The sound it makes though! Anything below 2,000 rpm you cant tell a difference but it sounds much deeper and louder. Excellent buy for the price.

Ok i dont give 5 stars very often but this gets it because of the price the look the quality the fitment I never have luck with these kind of things off Amazon but with what's going on I was bored and figured might as well try. well it took about a hour. it wasn't hard to figure out but no instructions and the pipe needs to be about 1 inch longer so that is the down side but no biggie. it all worked and looks amazing and oh wow when I put my foot into it my v6 mustang sounds amazing and it does help with throttle response but I don't see a bit of horsepower increase so if you're wanting horsepower increase don't waste the money you're wanting it to sound awesome and when you pop your hood for it to look awesome definitely buy it
