ASURION 3 Year Electronics Protection Plan ($300 - $349.99)

Purchased this to cover a cell phone signal booster. Read the fine print, and the coverage being sold only covered replacing the item if it died in a power surge (difficult to prove) because the Asurion plan period was less than the manufacturer's warranty. This was confirmed with an Asurion representative in a phone conversation. This plan should not be sold if its period of coverage is less than the manufacturer's warranty period.Amazon refunded the money promptly, but it was less than 48 hrs after purchase that the Asurion plan was "returned".

I bought it to protect the multi-media player, but it doesn't state what it covers, or when it expires. Who knows how good it will be if something happens to the unit. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The equipment I purchased came with a 2 year warranty. This policy starts from date of purchase. So in effect your paying for a 3 year warranty that is only good for 1 year. I canceled it. 1 star only because I had to.

bought an off brand mini computer (mini PC U700) and price to add insurance is reasonable. So far, off brand device is working great!! I am happy to report. I hope it does not change. the thought that if there are problems I can get help is good. If the time comes that I need, I hope it performs as promised!!

A service that costs as much as the device it protects (when add the deductible in)Then you might get your half broke device back (always with problems) or someone else's.

I bought a REFURBISHED Go Video Combo VCR & DVD. I had so many video's and some family videos that I couldn't bear not ever seeing them again; a wedding, a vacation, family members that had passed.With Asurion I got an out of the box warranty for 3 years, so the refurbished vcr/dvd player gives me at least 3 years to relax and enjoy my videos. I remembered reading I could call for installation help, it's included, so I called in and was very pleased with the very short wait. The tech had a sense of humor, and he made a complex job easy for me to do.Now I'm enjoying that which I thought was lost. You can make time stand still! Thank you Asurion.

I ordered this unit, arrived I tact and was more than I expected.!!! Good night vision, cameras are already programmed and synced to the monitor....just plug and play away.!!! I had a little issue, but customer service was very helpful and responded quickly.!!!! I would buy again.!!!!

I purchased this warranty for a new security camera system for my home because I had done the same for the previous security system which turned out to be worthless, and Asurion refunded me my entire purchase price. Well worth the money.
