Works great and is cute enough; however, the dog’s nose has left scratches on my door. It’s in a bit of a high-traffic area, so I’m sure it would be fine if not for that.

First off - this doorstop is darn cute and I wish I had paid a little more attention when purchasing it, because unfortunately it will not work well for my purpose.I intended it for an interior wooden hallway door. The incline is too steep to fit snugly under the door. Also, it is a door that I open and close regularly. The wedge portion is hollow and so it's a little top heavy with the squirrel. It tends to tip over when I maneuver the door.I recommend it for doors that have a big-ish gap at the floor that you don't intend to open and close often.

I bought this but didn't like the color. So I decided to strip it down to the metal. They did a great job painting this thing and used some good quality stuff. Regular paint stripping tactics didn't work. I had to take it to a friend and get it sand blasted. That's when I noticed that it's not one solid piece. It's 2 halves of a squirrel, tac welding together and then welded to a base. They used some kind of bond to fill in the gaps.. So instead I found a couple I liked, filled in the gaps and repainted it.. Overall it looks great and is very solid.. It'll probably last forever if you leave the original paint on it. Would have been 5 stars if the squirrel was one solid piece.. I'm happy with it though.

Love the look & weight of these doorstops! Only improvement I could mention, would be a rubber bottom cover to protect hard floors, & prevent possible sliding. Thanks!

Keeps the door from slamming shut on a windy day. And it's super cute.

I love this little guy. He keeps my office door fully open. Heavy enough to keep a large wood door open fully, yet small enough that it’s easy to move with my foot when I want to close the door. Well made, too.

This doorstop isn’t as heavy as I expected, but it does the job keeping the door open well.It was immediately ready for use from the box.My guests and I enjoy the whimsy and charm my little cat gives the room.

It is a very cute door stop but it is actually not very heavy so it doesn't actually keep our door open... might work better with a carpeted floor.
