Great wading boot studs
These are the best studs for wading boots. The first set lasted about five years, so great value for the money. The container includes a nut driver specifically for installing these studs using a cordless driver. Once in the shoe, they don't back out or come loose. The tungsten carbide material is very durable and gives you a great sense of security when wading in fast current and slippery rocks. I recommend them highly.

Great all around experience
Specialty fly shops are hard to find around my neck of the woods. So it is refreshing when I can get great items specifically geared towards fly fishing...Got these cleats to accompany my new waders, and boots. Vary pleased with the transaction and plan to buy from again when needed.

Or is studs are great to stand on in a river!
Studs were easily installed with the tool included, used them for Two weeks in Montana on 7 different rivers/ stream bottoms. Very secure with no slipping noticed. Inspection after use showed little wear and in great shape. Well worth the cost!

Orvis does not care about customers. (READ)
After one use the welded on heads started falling off. One even fell off during install as you can see the unused one in the pic with the grip portion floating in the pack (using provided tool). I went to my fly shop they said they had a bad run and to contact Orvis and they would replace them (understandable). I called Orvis 1-888-235-9763. The associate I talked to from the start treated me like I was trying to steal a new set. Said he could not find my purchase on their dealer records. Then asked my address. When I said hold on a sec let me make sure I give you the correct one the Orvis associate said under his breath “oh god” put out for having to wait 3 seconds. Then told me I would need to pay for shipping then once they get them and look at them they may replace them. Did not ask for pics or anything. I told them I would just buy the Simms screws and deal with Simms from now on. I hate companies that do not care about their customers. I now have a pair of Orvis waders, Orvis wading boots and Orvis recon rod up for sale for cheap. Good luck Orvis. Simms and any other fly rod company has my business.
