WARNING: Vendor recommends HAND WASHING! Just realized after I machine washed on gentle. I would not have purchased if I knew this. Who would make a blanket for dogs that you need to hand wash? Crazy. Hopefully it will hold up on gentle cycle.

I bought this blanket for my queen sized bed. My dog (a GSD) is getting older and has recently started having some occasional incontinence issues when she's sleeping - and she likes to sleep on my bed when I'm at work. This blanket just covers the surface area of my mattress (no overhang on the sides), and saves my quilts, sheets, and mattress when my dog has an accident. I spread this blanket over my bed when I wake up in the morning, and if it's wet later on when I'm ready to go to sleep, I throw it right into the washing machine without worrying about my bed. If it isn't wet, I fold it up and spread it back over the bed again the next morning. Saves me a lot of hassle, trying to clean and dry my sheets and mattress when all I want to do is go to bed! Will totally buy this waterproof blanket again if this one wears out.

I rarely ever write reviews but I just had to. We have a new member of the family a Maltese poodle Tony little thing. Let's just say this blanket only works as a blanket but any protection from pee is a load of garbage. Ot soaks right thru even for a tiny dog. So upset to spend so much for it to do nothing.

Our Anatolian Shepherd likes to snooze in our guest bedrooms during the day, and we purchased two of them (one in gray for one room and one in brown for the other) to protect the sheets. So far so good! He loves how soft they are and the flat side is pretty tacky which helps it stay in place.I do wish it came in a size larger, though. The largest right now is the dimensions of a queen mattress, which doesn’t leave much room to hang over the sides of its on a queen bed, so we lay it on sideways. A king size throw on a queen mattress would be ideal.

Works great and definitely keeps me from having to wash my bedding daily. I keep on my bed and on the dog's bed in case of accidents My older dog takes diuretics for heart disease and has accidents. Washes and drys and keeps its shape. Only problem is it rips easily if you have a chewer and seams are not perfectly sewn. Still would recommend over other waterproof blankets which would slide all over the bed.

we have a long hair german shepherd dog whose favorite sleeping spot in the sofa. she shed like crazy, especially in the summer, and i am unwilling to cede the sofa entirely to her; i want to be able to sit or lie there and not get covered with dog fur. we bought this cover to put on "her" end.it is not particularly attractive, but it is ok looking. it is soft, and she seems to like sleeping on it. it is washable, and it dries quickly. however, the texture means that it is impossible to just shake or brush clean in between washings, and even when it is washed, a lot of dog fur remains stuck on it.the waterproof feature is a very good thing. once minna (the german shepherd) was romping with the cat on the sofa, and he clawed her. this startled her so much that she peed a bit. however, as she was on her end of the sofa, on this blanket, the pee did not penetrate and get on the sofa itself.

I've had this blanket for a week and it is working so far. My puppy has accidents and this traps the urine and prevents it from getting on my furniture. It's a good price too! The material is soft too. I'm very happy with this blanket and will be ordering more!

Does exactly what it says it does. Great waterproof protection for the bed. Keeps pet hair off the bed. And, it looks great.Very happy, bought a second for our other bedroom. Washes really well on a hand wash/ wool setting.

It is definitely waterproof and is a good size, enough to cover the queen bed with an incontinent yellow lab!
