Broke in 2 days
Seem to work fine while at work, but the button to move the wire in and out broke within two days.

Not recommended. Does not work well, if at all.
I bought this to touch up prints that I make with my 3d printer. The first time using it, the end of the pen popped off. It was an easy fix but a little discerning to say the least. The "speed control" slider does nothing. In fact, the only way I could get it to extrude any filament, is to continuously press the load filament button. Im pretty sure that's not how it's supposed to work. Maybe I just got a weird defective unit but I would not recommend this at all. Especially if you are new at 3d printing.

9yr old loves it.
This is the very first thing my 9 yr old granddaughter looks for when she comes to visit. It took her about 10 minutes to get used to where the hot spots were at the tip of the pen and how to change out the colors. I don't have to give her advice on what to make, her imagination just goes crazy with this thing. She has made flowers, a tea and saucer set and an octopus right off the bat.Fun to watch a kid concentrate on something besides tv or a smart phone.

Great to use with students
One of the favorite items used by my students. Easy to use for the children to use. Since it does get hot I like the temperature display which reminds the students to be careful. It is not nearly as dangerous as a hot glue gun. The one thing that I would change about the pen is the button that controls the speed of the pen. Frequently the student inadvertently move the button to the lowest setting and they think that the pen isn't working. One of my favorite 3D pens.

The item arrived on the day promised by the seller. I tried and tested it and it worked although it would take a golden hand, somebody with such talent, to produce something as beautiful as what is shown on the ads. Mine was horrible so better not post it here hahah. I will give this to my son as he likes to draw.
