Looks great around the fireplace hearth. Seems to be good quality.

Love the look and it’s thick but I had a small coal fall on it and it burnt right through. Very quickly also I thought this was burn resistant.

I bought one of these about 2 years ago. We heat about half the house with wood in the winter, so we have a fire about every night. Tonight, we had a burning log roll out of the fireplace. The surface of the rug did melt in a few places, and it doesn't look very good any more, BUT, our real hardwood flooring was saved! I'd MUCH rather replace the rug, than the floor, or the whole house. It's a nice looking rug too BTW (before the log burns). Fits right in with our log home. It's not "oriental", rather quite "woodsy". Looks well made. I'm ordering another one now. Wouldn't be without it!

This rug is not meant to functionally be used by a fireplace. It is very pretty and a nice design but will light on fire and melt..trust me. If you are using decorative go for it, if you are using to be safe keep looking.

Fire resistant. We heat with wood. Fireplace with blower. This hearth rug is great. Wish it was a bit bigger.

Looks like sturdy material so I hope it lasts because I really like how it looks. It is surprisingly soft - I thought that it would be tougher since it's for in front of the fireplace but my cat loves it.

I watched as a piece of ember hopped out of my stove and land on the edge. It didn't start a fire but it did burn the rug.

The rug was pretty but seemed thin and quality was not what I expected. I returned it mainly because it wasn't quite as big as I needed. I would have kept if it was larger.
