Collector's Backgammon Game with Carrying Case

It wasn't as I though it would be. it's cheaply made but it defeated the purpose to play a game or two. May send it back and upgrade to a more expensive board. The pieces are not so big and plastic. The dice are very small. It is a gift for my mother and I haven't even sent it to her. Thatnks for asking!Amazon Prime customer.

The pieces are extremely small compared to what the image made me believe.Other then the size issue it works out fine. I really enjoy playing backgammon and despite the size problem I"ll enjoy it.

I'm not a fan. It is pretty and the box is sturdy, but the stitching on the triangles all came up. The knots were on the top, instead of under the triangle and from sliding the pieces and rolling the dice, they became undone. And now it looks crappy.

This set was in a good price range to buy for my young grandsons. It's a decent quality set in a securely closable case so pieces won't get lost.

The set is only 2/3 regular size, making the playing pieces a bit small. The dice are really tiny! I think they will be very easy to lose. The quality was just fine, but the smaller size was definitely a disappointment.

Not fancy; not the best made. But it workswell for traveling. Just toss it into the caror the suitcase and enjoy.

I read the reviews before purchasing this product and thought maybe people were just expecting too much. However, when I received my order, I fully agreed with other reviews. The dice are the size of a pea (literally). The game box and pieces are definitely small. I have a nice backgammon game, but have literally worn it out playing it, so was hoping to replace it with something similar. This was not it! I did not return it because it would cost me shipping, but definitely not something I would have bought if I had seen it first.

This was a Christmas gift to my 8 year old grandson and it proved to be a hit! He actually could explain the complicated game to me by just rolling the dice and starting! There are lengthy directions in the box but this was more fun and easier. He is beating me of course, but I am slowly learning the strategies and steps. Perfect game to play on a cold and snowy winter vacation day, near the woodstove. Low price and pretty classy.....

The case covering isn't particularly neat and the materials to make it are obviously cheap.The board when open for play measures 41cm by 30cm - that's measured from the outside case edges.You do get what you pay for but it's ideal for a starter set.

This isn't fancy or rubbish. It's just a nice little board that does what you want.Looks cheap, feels cheap but that doesn't affect the game so why spend more on a posh looking board.Buy this is you want to save your pennies
