Great coffee bean cooler
Great bean cooler. Well built, cools a batch of 300g in about 45 seconds. Easy to use, literally dump your roast and turn it on. Nothing complicated about it. Does a good job of collecting chaff from the roast as well.

This works great!
The media could not be loaded. This device does a great job. After 18 years of having to roast outside, I treated myself to a Behmor 2000AB. I’m now roasting under the powerful Vent-a-Hood in my Kitchen. The Behmor’s maximum roast size is 1 lb. This device will cool 1 lb. of beans in 2 1/2 to 4 minutes. It traps all of the chaff from the roasted beans in a screen under the removable basket, which is easily vacuumed up after the roast. If the fan ever stops working it’s no big deal, it’s a standard fan used to cool off computers, a $20 replacement. The DC power supply is probably equally inexpensive. I normally wouldn’t go to the trouble of leaving a review, but I’m so pleased with this that I decided I would.

Excellent coffee bean cooler
I had a choice between this coffee bean cooler and a cheaper model here at Amazon. Others complained about the build quality of the cheaper cooler so I paid the extra money. I am not disappointed.! The build quality is stellar. It cooled my freshly roasted beans in about a minute. Cleanup is easy, just dump the chaf in a trash bin. If the fan does go bad later, it is the size of a standard computer fan and easy to replace.

I love this coffee bean cooler
Excellent product. Just roasted three batches of a half-pound each. The cooler brought each batch down to cool-to-the-touch and ready to bag in about two minutes. Chaff disposal is very simple. I wish I had bought one of these years ago. The noise level does not bother me one bit, as long as it does such a good job.

Cools fast, removes chaff
The media could not be loaded. I have been roasting for 6 months and have used a fan and a colander to create a cooling device, but it usually takes more than 5 minutes in the Texas heat. 2 problems to solve, cool beans under 4 minutes and remove chaff.Set up is easy, set the cooler on a flat surface, find a wall plug, attach the plug to the cooler. I roasted 230 grams of beans, which final weight is around 188g. It feels like you could cool 8 oz up to 16 oz of coffee. (230 - 460 grams)I stirred the beans (see video) to move them and cool faster. I was able to get them cooled in less than 90 seconds! The material is metal and nicely put together. The interior is stainless and easy to clean. It's not very heavy, but the fan is noisy. I don't care much about the noise as I had a fan already for my previous method. For the job it does, it's a small item to deal with. The chaff collector under the basket has a mesh layer so that doesn't get into the fan. You can dump out the chaff after you finish the cooling cycle. I was not able to get 100% of the chaff out, but you can move your beans around on the wire basket and it will move some more out, just do that over a trash can or sink.Overall, this well exceeded my expectations and I am able to cool the beans at the stage I want to more efficiently. This is a must get for home roasters looking for a faster cooling method.

A Great Bean Cooling Machine!
Though not on my immediate priority list, and sitting in my wish list for months, I finally got around to ordering the,DYVEE Coffee Bean Cooler Electric Roasting Cooling Machine. To make this short, all of the 5 star reviews are definitely what I have found using this cooler. When I poured my dark roasted beans into the collander, the beans were still in the second crack phase. Turned on the fan and, Wow, that is one strong fan. It cooled the beans so fast, probably a minute and a half, or so. This is a must if you want more control over your roasting process.

One of my top purchases ever.
This is one of the greatest devices I’ve ever owned. Cools around 200g of roasted beans in less than a minute. Kinda loud, but I’m using an air roaster and it’s about the same volume. Very reasonable especially considering it’s on for such short periods.Solid construction, it’s got a good weight to all the components and everything fits together nicely. If you’re on the fence like I was, just go for it. 1000% worth every penny unless you feel like a DIY project.

Cools beans in a minute flat
The good: This imparts so much more flavor in the beans when they cool rapidly. This things cools very fast, like less than a minute to outside temp. Awesome. The metal body of the cooler is nice quality and appears to be powder coated? Bean tray is also higher quality. Overall I’m impressed with the build quality of it, definitely better than I was expecting.Has handled larger batches, so far I’ve run 400g batches through it and still had a little room in the top for more beans. Should be able to do a pound (453g).The bad: so weird, and the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars from me- the fan blades hit the edge of the interior of the fan surround and made a terrible sound. I took the guard off and sanded down the plastic body responsible for contacting the blades and no more problem. The chaff from the beans slows air flow at the inlet to the fan, seems like if there was another screen before it would work better.I’ll update with longevity/ reliability as I use it more.
