SKIPPY Natural Creamy Peanut Butter Spread, Plant Based Protein, 26.5oz

This is my favorite peanut butter. I have been eating it for 30 years. It tastes great and it is one of the things that I can which will not have a negative impact on my blood sugar level. It tastes great on fruit, vegetables and is a great snack with crackers and cheese. It is an excellent value for the price. I keep it in my pantry. I carry it with me as a sandwich or with salt free crackers. I am an insulin dependent diabetic and I use this product if my blood sugar gets too low.

I have tried a lot of different natural peanut butters, and the Skippy Natural Creamy Spread is by far my favorite for daily use. The biggest selling point for me is that it is a convenient, no-stir formula. You get the benefits of a cleaner ingredient list without having to deal with that annoying layer of separated oil at the top of the jar every time you open it. Very tasty peanut butter that costs less than at the supermarket. No extra ingredients, and most important no hydrogenated vegetable oils. About as close to grinding your own peanuts as possible without all the hassle. Says no stirring, but it does separate a little so I end up having to stir the jar upon first opening and then it stays well mixed during use. But I go through these pretty fast.

This peanut butter has a smooth, creamy texture that spreads easily without tearing bread or toast. I’ve used it for sandwiches, oatmeal, smoothies, and snacks with apples, and the flavor works well with everything. It has a nice roasted peanut taste and isn’t overwhelmingly sweet, which I really appreciate. The consistency also stays fairly even without requiring much stirring. My only complaint is that it feels slightly thicker near the bottom of the jar, and I wish the container were a little larger for the price. Overall, it’s flavorful, convenient, and versatile enough that I would happily keep it in my pantry.

It spreads smoothly on toast and works well in smoothies too. However, I did notice that the oil tends to separate a bit, so it needs stirring before use, which can be inconvenient. The jar size is decent, but I went through it faster than expected. Overall, it’s a solid option with great flavor, though the texture consistency could be improved slightly. I’d still consider buying it again.
