Easy to download and activate. Activation code easily found in my account software purchases.Have used this AVG Internet Security software for years and feel it gives me great protection.

Slows down MAC to unusable state. Constantly pops up marketing crap for more of it's useless products.Money back guarantee is a scam. What a waste of money. I bought it because consumer reports rated it well, but they obviously were mistaken. Big disappointment.

So far, it seems to be working well, there was a small problem with the download, but the guys from Amazon helped to correct the problem.....stuff happens. Only thing is, you don't get their firewall with this version, you have to turn on the firewall that is located in control panel on your PC.Such a deal, I had 3 PC's to put a virus program on after MSE refused to support XP.Yes, I will recommend this product.

I've been using Norton Internet Security since 2009. Norton was a great product until it merged with Lifelock. Now, Norton is a time wasting huckster for unnecessary services and products, with popups designed to scare me into purchasing said unnecessary products. I can't opt out of these messages and I can't block them.This year, AVG Internet Security filtered more malware in laboratory tests than did Norton. I'm moving all of my 250 or so managed computers to AVG this year. I'm about 10% converted now. I am very well pleased with AVG up to this point.AVG Internet Security is not a perfect product. It lacks a spam catcher and built in performance improvement features. I found that Norton's spam catcher didn't work very well anyway. The way Norton improves performance can damage SSD's. AVG has a performance product called AVG Tune that I'm testing and have not deployed. I don't really need either of those features.Another concern that I had was that AVG would adversely impact performance. That hasn't been the case for me. AVG is far less intrusive than Norton. AVG doesn't pop up an ad for a VPN that I don't need while I'm trying to get some work done.Cost is never a factor for me in deciding which product to buy. It turns out that AVG is slightly less expensive when the subscription period is factored in - two years versus one.

This product has become nageate. Even after installing a license key they consistently nag you to buy extra products no matter how many times you say no.Very irritating from. What used to be a great product.

Had to replace an antivirus/anti-spam software which I had depended on for years. The software title was discontinued and was in a dilemma on betting on a good replacement. This was not part of my short-list until the last minute. So far so good. Painless installation. No signs of being a resource hog, as my laptop (Windows 7) and PC (XP) are both running fine without any signs of being slowed down. Good value as well (for a 2-yr subscription for 3 units)

I tried downloading AVG on my Window's 8.1 computer and it kept telling me it was not compatible. I then called AVG's customer service in INDIA and they told me the pop-up telling me AVG was incompatible with Window's 8.1 wasn't really popping up on my screen and then kept trying to get off the phone. I asked to be transferred to another agent or to a manager and agent said this wasn't a possibility. After 30 minutes of back and fourth we finally got it downloaded.Once I got it downloaded I went to MSN, Yahoo and Youtube and was inundated with spam and various other pop-ups. I would NOT suggest you waste your money on this product. I can't tell you what antivirus to purchase, but DON"T BUY THIS one.
