Honestly I did not want to order these stirrups. However, the ones I did want didn't ship to APO. There were other, more expensive stirrups I considered as this picture makes these stirrups look a little cheap. In the end though I decided to go this route since I could order them with Prime and keeping my stirrups were not an option since my dog went chew happy on one of them. I received them today and they actually look quite nice on my barrel saddle. I even put my booted foot in the stirrup because I was afraid they were going to be too small. In reality they are about the same size as my rawhide ones were. I have not ridden with them yet, but I don't expect to have any issues with them and I think the grip will be quite nice.

After dealing with issues receiving it, not the sellers fault. Finally came in and I'm very happy with the quality of the stirrups. These are very nice and I was worried I was sacrificing quality for a lower cost. Turns out miracles do happen and they are great. I have purchased a few things from this company and everything always turn out to be good quality and very reasonably priced.

Gorgeous, high quality stirrups! The pictures don't do them justice as all. Every bit as nice as those other brands of stirrups that are being sold for $50+. Initially, I was worried that the width on the base was kind of narrow since there isn't a side shot, but I was pleasantly surprised that they were wider than the picture and has perfect. They were a gift for my mother and she loved them!!

I only received 1 stirrup. I will be returning. Nowhere in the description does it say it comes with just one. It uses the plural "stirrups" so everyone assumes they are getting more than one.
