🔫 Elevate Your Aim with Tactical Precision!
The SWFA SS 10x42 Tactical Riflescope features a Mil-Quad reticle and 1/10 Mil adjustments, designed for precision shooting. Its rear focus mechanism allows for quick target acquisition, while the matte finish minimizes glare, making it ideal for tactical applications.

Best scope under $1,000.
The SWFA scope is without a doubt the best scope you are going to get short of spending at least $1,000. Contracted and used by the navy, this scope is rugged, robust, and accurate. The turrets track perfect every time and have a tactile adjustment, making it easy to dial in as precisely as needed. The glass is clear, with minimal shadow on the edges. The Mil-Quad reticle is a great addition, making it easier to see smaller targets at distance. The only feature that I would say this scope would need is a zero stop which can be made or bought with shim kits. This scope is one of the rare occasions where you get more than you pay for. The SWFA SS easily competes with Vortex, Bushnell, Burris, or Nikon. To get something nicer, you'll have to look at top tier glass like U.S Optics, S&B, or Night force, which cost easily three times as much, depending on the models, even more than that! This scope will take a beating and still work, And look good doing it.

Nice bullet proof simple fixed 10x scope.
Glass not as clear as say a 3-9x Leopold at 9x. Not terrible but could be better. Really its claim to fame is not glass its durability and ability to hold center. For that its one of the best scopes.

Great optic
For $300 you will not find a better optic. I have ran several box drills with these and they all track correctly. The glass isn't bad, in sunlight you will have a hard time telling its a $300 optic but in low light you will quickly find the weak link to this optic. The turrets have a nice felt click, and are stiff to where they will not be moved if bumped. All said if you are looking for a good budget friendly optic that has good clearity good tracking I would tell you to try one out.

Solid scope
Tracking is perfect and very repeatable..I spin turrets max to max sometimes and it still functions without any issues. This is my second swfa ss scope. They are comparable to my multi-thousand dollar leupold with mechanical performance but not glass quality...still gets me to a thousand easily and beyond if i want..perfect budget optics

Until you can tripple your money, these (rear & side) are it.(IMCO)
I guess you could fall off the back of a truck with it mounted, land on top of it, go off and shoot the 'Box' a few hundred rounds in bad weather and keep coming back to the same ragged hole and call it survivable, :) I have both rear and side focus 10's mil, mil and without having a grand laying around to burn I will likely stick with these. (Yes I have had other mid-higher priced stuff, traded it off long ago) It does what it is designed for, never cheapened, only improved a tiny bit. You can go to an 'American' company and for over 900 beat it by a bit, go German and get a bit better for a lot more money a bit better in poor light. So, I can 'live' with their 10's.

Great glass, however turrets could be more precise.
The glass on this rifle is great for the price, and the overall sturdiness/fit/finish is excellent. My only complaint is that when dialing the turrets, the clicks are tactile however the markings can fall between the increments marked for the MIL adjustments. You get used to it after DOPEing your rifle, but I just wish it was a little more clean and crisp.

Better than Excellent
It’s as good as I’ve heard from various YouTubers, namely TiborasaurusRex. I deployed my bipod and placed my stock in a rest, with my crosshairs on target, without moving my rifle, I adjusted the turrets and the adjustments always matched the Mil-Dot hold. Sure enough, the tracking is perfect, which made zeroing a breeze. I took this out to 440 yards with a T/C Compass in 6.5 Creedmoor and was maintaining ~3.5” groups. I tried again at 650 yards, but wind gusts made it difficult, and my group was just left of the 8” steel plate. Being as this was my first experience with reading wind and doping a scope, I was still very pleased. The built in sunshade places the glass about an inch receded into the scope. The turrets adjustments are audible and easily re-zeroed. Glass quality is excellent. Even at 650 yards, it was still quite easy to center the crosshairs on an 8” steel plate. Pictures don’t do the 10x42 scope justice. I’d feel comfortable shooting humanoid targets out to 1000yds with this scope, I’m sure. I’d rather have this scope than anything under $600 and if I was going to spend more than that, I’d purchase the SWFA 3-15x42.I’ll definitely have to get more of these products.

Great Fixed Scope
If you're honest with yourself, you probably don't need a $2000 5-25x 50mm scope on every rifle you own, and generally you don't even adjust the power all that much, so why bother. This is a fantastic piece of glass, for the price, and it's solid. I got this for a medium range 200-600 yard rifle, and it delivers. The only things I can complain about are the turrets. They occasionally feel a little mushy, not a distinct click when adjusting, especially when just trying to get one or two clicks (4/5 on durability because of this). The only improvement I can think of is a zero reset function for going back to your 100/200 yard settings
