This Item Was A Real BANG
I was so excited to get a flat iron that went up to 450 degrees with a matching mini that also heated to 450. I had been looking for a while. As soon as I opened the Amazon box it looked like the item was a return from someone else. It didn't look new. I kept hearing something jingling around in the base of the flat iron but I was so excited to have it I didn't really investigate the noise. After reading the instructions I plugged in the larger flat iron and immediately head a POP and saw a Spark. Thank goodness it didn't shock me. I wrapped it right back up and sent it back. So Disappointed :(. The best thing about this purchase was the easy return. If anyone with authority is reading this you might want to look into who is selling this stuff
