I purchased a Black & Decker 36V electric mower buuuut the charger wasn’t working. The blade motor worked and the blade spun but it had no friggin’ juice. So I ordered this EfficientV 36V replacement charger and long story short, it’s a great replacement charger that works perfectly and the seller had amazing customer service.The full story is that After ordering this charger and it came within 4-5 days, when I went to plug it into the port near the handle of the mower, the green light on the charger turned off and the dreaded smell of burning electronic parts came from the warm charger enclosure. Dang! Two chargers down 🤷‍♂️. I contacted Richard and without any delay, he gave me some helpful advice on some quick system debugging and sent me a new charger while I looked into a few things. Ok, this is pretty dumb, somehow the battery was installed with the output leads reversed biased (positive and gnd were swapped). I learned this by first noticing that the blade was spinning in the opposite direction and then when I checked the leads to the port with a multimeter, confirmed that the battery was reversed biased. Opening up the battery and swapping the output leads is very easy so I did that. When the new charger arrived it worked perfectly and my mower is revving away keeping my yard of weeds perfectly trimmed 😆. Richard never asked about what happened but I basically fessed up and told him it was the batteries fault, expecting him to come back with something like “$60 plz”. BUT, he didn’t ask for anything and instead just said he was happy I got the mower running and that the charger was working well. Great job guys and thanks for being so helpful and understanding. 5 stars all the way and would highly recommend to a friend. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Like others have said, the charger would not plug into the battery. I had already ready about obstructions in the battery plug and that's the first thing I checked. I found nothing instructing the plug at all. Even using a magnifier, I saw nothing. No matter what I did, it would not go in. I didn't want to push too hard and ruin my brand new $70 charger. I then examined the plug end of the CHARGER. There I saw the problem. The two metal tangs on the plug were bit off center. Using a precision flat blade screw driver (and I'm talking like a tiny screwdriver, like you would use on eye glasses) I was able to push the tangs inward just slightly. Once this was corrected, the charger plugged in and charged my battery. My rating is 4 stars only because of this slight defect. Other than that, this seems to be a decent quality product.

A small bit of my original charger broke off in the mower. I extracted the bit, plugged it in (now missing a bit of plastic) and it charged, but I quickly started having trouble finishing my lawn on a single charge. So I bought this replacement and now it charges fully again, just like it used to before the old one broke. Perfect! (Yes, it can be a bit tricky to insert it into the mower - firm yet gentle wiggling needed, don’t manhandle it, but press firmly, and wiggle - but my original one was the same way.) Very pleased!

Works great. Zero complaints and I think I am in my 3rf or maybe 4th year of owning it. Reliable.

Had my mower number listed for compatibility but when received did not work. I am still without a charger

My old charger still worked but the white and green plastic connector was starting to break and difficult to attach. This replacement charger was a perfect fit and charges easily and quickly.
