Scorpion EXO-T1200 Freeway Street Motorcycle Helmet

After buying an entry-level model the first year I started riding, I upgraded to the EXO-T1200 last year.Pros:- Seems to be the perfect balance between a reduction in road noise and still allowing you to hear your engine.- When you put the helmet on, the cushion on the inside is extremely comfortable. Fits appropriatelyand the adjustable strap helps it feel incredibly secure.- The interior sun shield is very capable at blocking sun and providing protection if riding during the day when it's sunny. Both the main shield as well as the interior sun shield are very easily opened.- Design- the T-1200 look very cool.- It's quite easy to change out the visor. I purchased the darker smoke tint shield and found it quite easily to switch between the two visors depending on riding conditions.Cons:- There's really nothing you can complain about with this helmet. The only thing I might say is that for the first few times I used it after longer rides, I noticed a small black mark on my forehead from where the helmet made contact.Overall, the EXO-T1200 is an amazing motorcycle helmett. It looks great, reduces road noise, and makes you feel confident while riding your motorcycle.

I love the helmet. Always been a fan of Scorpion for design and R &D. Search on Amazon and you’ll find many reviews showing the damage they take and people claiming their lives were saved. This helmet is outstanding. Didn’t have a high viz option but the black is sleek with a very comfortable shape, many vents, and the drop down visor and inflatable cheeks which is what makes me buy scorpion every time. The helmet is lightweight, good field of vision, etc. great overall. My biggest gripes are 1. that the helmet runs large and this isn’t advertised. I was squarely in a size large and it fit snuggly as helmets should having bought many before. This one quickly loosened to the point of not being safe. Scorpion wouldn’t claim the fit as a warranty issue and suggested I try a smaller liner which I have yet to trial. Not the sellers fault but these two gripes are: 2. The helmet sold for $342 and is still listed as such on here when the line was discontinued and is now retailing from $130-$200 dependent on design. I way overpaid for the item, and even if the seller didn’t know it was discontinued still sells it twice what it is now worth. Which brings on #3. I removed the liner today to prepare for the new one and found out the helmet was 2 years old upon purchase. I adhere to the 5 year rule meaning the helmet already was 40% through its life when sold to me at $342. This is something that is within a sellers knowledge and the helmet should have been marked down as such and now should be marked down as it’s retailing much less elsewhere. I recommend the helmet; not this seller or buying via Amazon.Please not the seller was Ecom Everything and these helmets have various sellers based on size and design. Not bashing other sellers on here.

This Helmet is incredible!! Not only is it lightweight, its functionality cant be beat. I am using a smoke gray visor, but a clear visor will work perfectly! Clear for night riding and then just flip UP the visor and pull DOWN the lever for the shades, and Viola!! built in shades or sunglasses with the flip of a switch ! Also there are so many combinations its incredible. Not to mention the top of the line airflow through this helmet is unmatched. It is perfect for the long hauls on the Freeway or just going a few miles down the street, this is the helmet I use all the time!!!!Awesome Purchase !!

Great looking helmet. Great ventalation. My only negative is according to the size chart I should easily fit a XXL. It feels like it is a little too snug. Short rides not problem. I have not riden any long rides with it yet but I can see it will be uncomfortable for long rides.Compared to a Shoei Neotec 2 XXL. The Neotec felt perfect, but that also comes with a $700 price tag.

Looks good, is comfortable but is too noisy. I previousely had an entry-level AGV and I immediately felt the difference, you can hear the wind in your ears while wearing this helmet, for this price, I do not recommend.

This is a very nice helmet. Unfortunately, although I ordered the largest size available (XXL), it was still too small for me. I had to return it.

Way overpriced. I’d have no problem paying 3-400 dollars for a helmet, but the wind noise needs to be low. The wind noise is hardly any better than a HJC helmet that was around 150 dollars in the spring of 2019

It's a very good product! It fits perfectly, it's confortable, light weight and a good air intake. There is some extra noise about 40 miles and up, but not that much. Really worth it
