LilyPadzReusable Nursing Pads - Large - 2 Pairs

Okay for occasional use
The LilyPadz basically do what they are supposed to but are not as good as disposable pads. They adhere okay and did not leak when I used them. However, here are the cons:1.) As others have said, a little milk does pool in the pad. This didn't leak out when I used them, but there was the question of what to do with it when I took off the pads to nurse. If the pads aren't dry they don't stick as well, so I had to dab it off with a disposable pad I had nearby before reapplying the Lilypadz.2.) What to do with the pad while you're nursing? With disposables you can take the pad out and set it down or just push it aside in your bra while you are nursing. These aren't ideal with the Lilypadz since they will pick up all sorts of hair, dirt, etc, if you set them down. Mine came with a little bag and some plastic curved pieces that it says to store them on when not in use, but that seems to be more for long term storage (at least it's not convenient to carry around with you anyway). I jsut set mine sticky side up next to me and hoped they wouldn't get too gross, but it was a pain. They sell on the go wipes to clean them after nursing, but again, who needs an extra thing to carry around when you're nursing 8 times a day?So, in my view they are still not nearly as convenient as disposable, enough so to make them too annoying for everyday use. However, they are nice for when a disposable just won't work, like swimming, or getting a massage, or some other bra-less situation. I personally would be too afraid that they'd come off and leak everywhere to use them for sleeping. Also, they say that they are only good for up to 2 months of regular use, so they aren't cheaper than disposable either. For those of you that might still try them out, I am a 36DDD and the large fit me fine.

Not foolproof but best bet for leaking milk, esp. at night
During the day, I wear reusable/disposable pads in my bra. But I hate wearing a bra at night and I was tired of waking up with soaked nightclothes from leaking breastmilk. I was wary of trying LilyPadz since some reviewers said they didn't work and someone even wrote that they got an infection from all the moisture held by the pads. But a friend highly recommended them so I gave it a try. I only wear the LilyPadz at night so I can go braless. Unless I get really engorged, I don't leak milk. And even when I do leak, it's not as much as without the pads. Sometimes the pads come off and I've only used them for 2 weeks or so and not all day so they company's claim that they last 2 months has not been true for me but I am able to stick them back on and I hope to get at least several more weeks out of this pair. But overall, I'm satisfied given the amount of nighttime leaking I was doing prior to using this product. I don't use the Lilypadz soap--just wash them every morning with very hot water and regular hand soap. What can I say? This product is far from perfect but it's the best thing I've found to allow me to go braless at night. Breastfeeding is messy! Also, I have very large breasts (how large? When women talk about how huge their double D's are I laugh!) and the large size pads work for me.

ok, but
These worked ok. They stayed on through some leakage and kept it contained, but be ready with a towel when you remove them. I ended up using more disposable pads, because its easier. You have to wash these and let them dry before re-applying which lets face it is the last thing you want to deal with. They can be useful when I'm not nursing, to wear with a swimsuit or something else that can benefit from extra coverage.

Not Worth the High Cost
Works the first few times.Out of the package, these adhere wonderfully. Pulling them off the first few times is painful on tender nipples.Adhesion is quickly going away. Can wash with dish detergent to refresh them some, but these do not seem to last long. The person who recommended them to me told me after I bought them that they only last two months - wish I'd known that before I dropped $40 on them! Not worth the cost.

Love these.
Easier than carrying around multiple disposables or cloth washables. Stick and stay put wonderfully. Used the regular size for previous two breastfeeding experiences and giving the large size a trial run to stop my minor leaking before I have delivered this baby. Smooth fit without making my breasts seem deformed and even make a braless day possible! I am a 34F and these make me happy.

Yes to LilyPadz
These were really cool to use. After a while, and by the time I didn't really need nursing pads anymore, they seemed to lose their stickiness, but perhaps I should have used the soap they make? Definitely worth purchasing a new pair if I have a second child!

Why are these offered as Prime?!
Lilypadz are awesome they prevent that chaffing feeling of disposable pads. BUT, they do not last two months even when perfectly cared following the directions exactly. At best you get two great weeks and the next two weeks they barely stick and you couldn't go bra less with them. The most annoying part is the lilypadz large are not Amazon Prine but all of the regular size ones are. This is aggregious and annoying and makes me think twice about ordering them. Seriously Lilypadz why?!
