They are very good quality and sturdy I'm enjoying the looking of them on my stove top.

Very thin material...
These burner covers do just that... they cover the burners!! I made sure to measure and they fit over the burners perfectly. The material they are made of is a little thicker than heavy duty aluminum foil...so...they bend very very easily, so be careful when washing or handling them or even sitting things on top of them. Otherwise, when I look across the room into the kitchen it allows for a very neat appearance of the stove, which is the main reason that I ordered them.

Burn and rust easily
We got these covers about 2 years ago, and they are definitely not stainless steel (nor silver, as the description suggests), nor resistant to leaving the stove on by accident. They looked beautiful straight from the box, but we accidentally put the stove on (it's an 1959 original Thermador, and the burners have no safety), and the covers became a bit warped and burned brown/black. They have also become very rusty after 2 years of normal kitchen use. They did the job, as they protect the coils against falling crumbs and splatters, and we can use the covered coils for extra surface space if we don't use the stove.Although the burning was our own fault, the rust was a disappointment. We will order from another brand and hope those will last a bit longer.

A waste of money.
The first time I received the product, one of covers was scratched really bad. I sent it back and reordered.The second set came scratched and one cover was bent. I am sending back. I will not reorder again.

Only 3 stars because I burn these suckers faster than Prime gets them here!
I always smell….that there’s a “ wrong” burner on….before I see it.. lol… I should order these by the darn dozen. I see already though that these are more sturdy…I’ve “ gotten away” with at least 3 mis- knobbed burners and CAUGHT IT…. I know I’m not getting quicker or smarter …this brand is just DEFINITELY MORE STURDY ….better paint quality too ..than any I’ve gotten before. I got black this time….very obviously a higher quality paint finish also. In my defense ladies…. the way my countertop burner inlay is….( I’m saying this after YEARS of use).. the KNOB layout just doesn’t match that “ at a glance” common sense choice..
