Klipsch RP-250F Tower Speakers (Ebony)

I went in with somewhat low expectations on these Klipsch floorstanders, but they absolutely blew me away with their performance. First off, I have been a professional musician and composer for almost twenty years, and listen to high quality studio monitor speakers every day. While these Klipsch speakers are not 100% accurate (no speakers are), they offer an incredibly vibrant and balanced sound across the full range. I compared these to the Elac F6 and UB5 models based on their high praise from audiophile sources and similar price point. While these models are indeed accurate and detailed, they just didn't make me as excited to listen to music as the Klipsch models. The newly redesigned horn tweeter in the RP-250F's was especially impressive as it really takes away the harshness associated with many speakers that use this design. I'd highly encourage anyone interested in listening to music for enjoyment's sake to check these out. Here's a few quick pros and cons:Pros:-Bass is tight, clean, and extends lower than virtually anything else at this price point-Highs are crystalline, but not fatiguing or over emphasized-Mids are articulate and detailed especially as the speaker breaks in (at least 24 hours of play time)-Very attractive, compact, and sleek design-Significantly better fit and finish than the Elac's I testedCons:-Packaging makes removing and setting up the speakers somewhat difficult-Despite Klipsch wrapping themselves in the American flag in their marketing, these are built in China.

Straight up: I love them.I did a whole lot of research before buying these, mostly based on customer feedback and what I could find in forums etc. I'm sure there is better ones out there but if you're like me, enjoy listening to music, watching movies, playing games occasionally on you console these will do an amazing job. I have their bigger brothers back home in Germany but wanted something slightly slimmer looking. Complete piece of art when you unbox them. Even my girlfriend who was not delighted to hear about their size, said they look amazing. It's a decorative piece of furniture besides being able to blast your ears off and keep your neighbors awake a little longer.I have used them even in our roof deck with 20 people over for my bday and we had an amazing sound. They have a crystal clear sound for electronic and hip hop (my main genres). They never get loud that you cannot hear each other talk.I realize I sound like I work in their marketing, but this is just some love from a true fan!

Well worth the purchase. I recently upgraded from a pair of speakers that were thirty years old and although it is hard to find places to actually listen to speakers anymore, the klipsch reputation plus research and recommendations made me feel a little better purchasing on blind faith. I was not disappointed. The sound is great and they even look pretty good.

I recently got a pair of these floor speakers along with a Denon AVR-S510BT. The sound is crisp, clear, and detailed with a strong midrange and healthy top-end extension. Very even, balanced sound with decent low end. I'm currently running them in stereo without a center, and I haven't paired them with a subwoofer yet, but I imagine doing so will greatly improve the overall sound. These seem very well-made and I imagine they will hold up nicely over time.

Great sound. Very good looking speakers. A small sub-woofer will give you the "rumble" you want for movies while the towers provide clarity and sounds that you didn't hear previously, literally. I have replayed games and re-watched movies with a totally different experience as the first time. Great purchase all the way around and very happy!

The ebony finish is just a film glued to the MDF box and it could be improved as it is very sensitive to scratches and minor bumps. The sound quality is amazing, but manufacturing in China needs more rigor in product quality manufacturing.

Never experienced anything audio like this. Have the matching center and the reference 12" sub in a 7.1 setup ran off a Denon 910w. Movies sound unbelievable and music is amazing, I'm listening to just about anything because it sounds so good. The grilles have these cool magnets that hold them on. Get a good receiver and don't hesitate with these. You can turn way up with no harshness/distortion

I have always been a fan of Klipsch products and these speakers did not disapoint . Realistic true sound.
