To grease or not to grease...
Purchased this kit while rebuilding my 1986 OMC Cobra. Gaskets and bellows are as expected and good quality. The gimbal bearing is not what I expected. As a maintenance tech, I am well qualified to say that this bearing is a "sealed for life" bearing. Meaning that it will not accept grease as there is no grease hole on the outer race. The housing that this bearing is installed in comes with the grease hole which is useless with this style bearing. Sealed for life also means that the life of the bearing can be negatively affected by the quality of the grease used by the manufacturer. I.E subpar quality grease, early failure in the bearing and no way to push in a quality grease at time of install. Keep this in mind when ordering your own gimbal bearing.

this was my first attempt at replacing the Gimble Bearing and Bellows. this had every part I needed except for the glue for the Bellows. perfect fit.
