I ordered this screen about a year ago for school and loved it. I never had any problems connecting it to my HP laptop, sound worked great, although it was a little quiet coming through the screen but easily fixed with headphones. I had less than 100 hours on it when I went to use it, and the screen wouldn't come on. I reached out to customer service; they were very helpful and replaced the screen. Customer service was easy to work with, and overall, the screen has worked great for school.

I bought this primarily to use as a portable second monitor to use with my MacBook Air (15-inch, M2, 2023) for doing office type work (viewing and editing documents and surfing the web), and it works great for that purpose! ... I used the included USB-C to USB-C cable and plugged my MacBook Air into the UPerfect Monitor (using the UCB-C port labeled Type-C1), and it was immediately recognized and worked as expected without needing to plug the monitor into a power adapter. There are certainly higher definition portable monitors available, and the display on this monitor isn't even close to the quality of the MacBook's screen. (If I could have afforded it, I would have gotten UPerfect's 2K/QHD version: https://www.amazon.com/UPERFECT-Portable-2560x1600-FreeSync-External/dp/B0CRDSV638) But this monitor is an absolutely great value for the money and I would buy it again.Package Contents and ConnectionsThe package came with a USB-C-to-USB-C cable (which is what I use to connect it to my MacBook), an HDMI-to-HDMI cable, and a USB-C-to-USB-A cable for use with the included USB charger.The monitor has two USB-C connections--one for the display data connection (labeled Type-C1), which is the one next to the HDMI connection, and one for power (labeled Type-C2). The monitor works with the M2 MacBook Air using just one USB-C cable plugged directly into the MacBook Air (even when the MacBook Air is running on battery), which is exactly what I wanted--a totally portable 2nd display for my MacBook Air! But it is important to note that the laptop must be connected to the USB-C connection labeled Type-C1, not the connection labeled Type-C2. For the video connection, it is also important to make sure you use the included USB-C-to-USB-C cable (or another USB-C that supports data transfer) and not a charge-only USB-C cable.Even though the monitor works with just being plugged into my MacBook Air, to avoid draining the laptop battery, and to avoid needing to use two USB chargers (one for the laptop and one for the monitor), I bought a 6 ft. USB-C-to-USB-C cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088NRLMPV/) to use with the Apple 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter that came with my MacBook Air.Picture Display ModesThe "Picture" settings of the monitor allow you to change the "GameMode" from Standard (default) to FPS or RTS. Both FPS and RTS make the screen substantially brighter than the Standard mode. For my purposes (working on documents and surfing the web), I prefer the FPS mode even though I don't use the monitor for playing games.General FeaturesThe included magnetic cover/stand works well. It doesn't provide a ton of protection, but it protects the screen from being scratched when it is in a laptop sleeve or bag. It works well as a stand when using the monitor in the usual horizontal orientation. When using the monitor vertically, I found it works best to remove the magnetic cover and then insert a thick pen or a Sharpie marker into the hole in the frame of the monitor (which was one of the reasons I selected this monitor) to act as a kickstand to hold it upright. Unfortunately, the menu/power buttons are on the left side of the monitor, which is the bottom when the monitor is oriented vertically, which means it is easy to accidentally press them and turn the monitor off when standing it vertically.The built-in speakers work fine. I have not tested the HDMI connection, the USB OTG connection, or the headphones connection. The monitor does have VESA holes, but I have not used them.

Pretty solid panel all around. No dead pixels out of the box. Color accuracy is okay, even after some light calibration colors seems a bit off. I am not using it for anything like that, so it's fine with me. Couldn't get it to work with MacOS over USB-C and had to use HDMI, not a big deal. It does flicker on occasion like it loses signal, using nice 8K HDMI cables. Intermittent but a little annoying. Got on sale for around $50 so my expectations were in the proper place.

Took a bit to set up but finally got it. So far so good as a 2nd screen while working from home.Latest update works good, no issues what so ever. Works great as a 2nd screen!! Glad I found it & ordered.After 2 years with this so far it works great and continues to work good one me. Just have some issues but it's my error not the monitor.

These were exactly what I needed to set up for my work from home station. Now I have 3 monitors and these work perfectly. Basically only and play thankfully as I am not tech savvy.

This monitor works beautifully, with no set up required! Just plug it in and it works. The display is really clear, much better than I was expecting. The screen is very bright which is perfect for working during the day, and it can be adjusted. The size is great and after traveling multiple times with it, the monitor still works perfectly and I don’t have to worry about scratching it or breaking it as it comes with the little stand that also covers and protects the screen when not in use. I’ve tried similar monitors in the past and a problem was always a display that just wasnt bright or colorful enough, but this one easily surpasses all of those I’ve tried. This has really been a godsend for me as I like to travel and bring my work with me.The customer support is also amazing. Months after my purchase I reached out to the company to request an adapter to use this monitor with my partner’s MAC, and they went above and beyond to help me secure that adapter, amazing!
