A quality product, love it.
You have to pay a high price to get something this nice but I have had something similar before (Grohe) for 16 years and it was flawless. I moved and left it.It has a very easy-to-install mechanism. There is a threaded plate that you tighten the faucet to the deck with by tightening a couple of screws. No clumsy wrench operation needed. Easy. The magnetic holder for the sprayer is great. The faucet I replaced (Moen) always had the sprayer hanging down despite the weighted hose.Looks nice, works smoothy. From what I can determine the once great Grohe isn't great anymore. Not as good as the Hansgrohe, the original company.

The world’s most frustrating faucet
It’s rare to install a kitchen product that makes your life so much worse, but hansgrohe have managed to tick many of the boxes you would expect from a faucet in Hell’s Kitchen (and I don’t mean the tv show).Bizarrely, once installed, this faucet will self-center - so whenever you turn the faucet - to the left or right - it will slowly swing back to the center position. So filling up a pan that’s not perfectly positioned in the middle of your sink requires holding the faucet in place so it doesn’t drift. The next challenge is with the button that changes the water flow from a stream to a shower. You have to keep holding the button down for this to work which requires keeping your hand in a cramping position while you wash the dishes (with your other hand). The third problem is you need the skills of a pro wrestler to coax the hose to extend or retract. It’s preferred state is stuck half way in, and despite the best efforts of my jujitsu plumber there didn’t seem to be a good way to make this run smoothly. It’s hard to believe that a well-trusted manufacturer would make such a poorly designed and built product for our world, although its likely there are brisk sales on the other side of the River Styx.

Mostly great but c’mon man
Nice faucet, easy to install with one exception, smooth operation, nice looking. But as received the hot and cold feeds were labeled backwards, so had to do it twice. C’mon man, it’s not hard to get that right at the factory. Will update if any problems arise as it gets used.

Fabulous!
Had a Kohler faucet where the lever fell off every time we tried to operate it. Inside, everything was plastic, so no wonder.By contrast, this feels sturdy and the gunmetal color is lovely, looks high end.

Spray function cannot be turned off
I like the clean design, and for the first few weeks after installation (by a licensed plumber) it worked well. Recently, however, the spray function no longer goes off automatically when you release the button. It gets a bit frustrating when I was trying to get back to the normal stream of water, but am unable to do so. I am not sure if this is a product design flaw, or whether I have faulty product. I entertain myself by imagining that the tap has a mind of its own, and will switch back to a normal stream of water when it feels like doing so!

Shows it's very high quality
This is a study, well made and attractive fixture - and it shows it. While it may seem too contemporary, my installation is in a somewhat traditional-western style kitchen and the style fits in very well. I would term it more as neutral leaning to contemporary. I really like that the installation is very easy. If you are handy enough to remove the old faucet you will have no problem installing this one. You will not even need a basin wrench. Just a couple of screw drivers and a couple of mid-size crescent wrenches.

Waste of time and money
Suspect the wrong nut was included in the box from the factory or supplier—both the plumber and I could only get it to cross thread during attempted installation, which obviously failed.Had to scurry to Home Depot to get an “inferior” product from a competing brand, but that one could actually be installed (and in a simple, easy fashion no less).

Button stopped working after 10 months. Spray isn't sharp enough
We opted for a "higher end" Hansgrohe over a Moen and really regret it.The button for the spray setting is stuck and we'll need to replace the parts, maybe the entire faucet. We had a Moen previously in another house for 8 years and never had an issue with it.
