Used to buff out single stage paint on a forced rotation dual action buffer. Worked perfectly and stuck to the buffer very well. Cleans up after use well. Sheds a bit.

I tried this with my Porter Cable DA buffer and it didn't work very well. It's so soft that the DA stops spinning. I tried it with my rotary buffer afterwards and instant glass smooth shine! It cut great and left a perfect finish! Cuts better than foam pads. You don't need to do a lighter buff or polish afterwards if you don't want to.

Attacks sand scratches and refines nice before foam pad or use with final polish if not a show car it will finish out nice too.

I mainly use Lake pads so didn’t hesitate to purchase this wool pad. I needed a wool pad to polish my oxidized front cap on my travel trailer. Good news, it does an excellent job of deoxidizing the gel coat. I used a Meguiar’s RV/Marine product. The bad news, the backing started separating in two places when I was about 90% done. I have foam pads I’ve used repeatedly and never had a separation. So, pretty disappointing. As happens too often, I am 2 days outside the return window. Given I have other Lake pads that have performed flawlessly, I’m still giving this a 4 star.

Lake country purple polishing pads are the best I've used. I've been a professional detailer for 15 years. I rinse them when I'm done and run them through the laundry with no fabric softener and they are good for about 20 uses. Highly recommend.
