Hi I wash the top with soapy water The base unit I clean with anti bac wipes there is I small circle in the base that looks abit like a filter.i clean that with a damp cotton bud if that makes sense. Hope that helps.

Q: Can you charge the diffuser and then it works or do you have to keep it plugged into work? i want it to sit on a table with no lead attached.

Sorry it has to be plugged in to work! It does work great though, I love mines. Much better than air freshener.

Q: Is this noisy or quiet enough for a bedroom?

It never wakes us up and we use it every night be sure to clean it well do not leave water in fkr 2 long or ot starts to smell, this is the same with all diffusers not just this one enjoy
