I am not a payed reviewer. I made the conscious and extensively-premeditated decision to purchase this specific model laptop with 256 SSD and 1050 GPU. Huge upgrade to my Lenovo y510p (i5 4200 w/ 860m).Nearly everything about this laptop is amazing: build, display, price/value. My biggest gripe about this laptop is that the sound quality is very poor compared to the lenovo but this doesn't really matter for me for a majority of the time. No Bloatware is not a meme, it is true and real with Prostar! Super fast. SSD is so good i love it.

It works well, but nowadays I'm having issues with the monitor... It just randomly stops displaying/cuts off, and it's not my screensaver. Sometimes it freezes while booting, other times it doesn't boot at all. I've run both CHKDSK and SFC /scannow multiple times, but no issues have been found. Maybe it's a virus? I dunno.EDIT: The moment I wrote this, I was contacted by a Prostar rep. He had my laptop fixed and sent back to me. It works like new now.

I'm not much of a gamer, but I am a video professional and purchased this for the specs. It is super fast and handles 4k video without any stutters. I also edit photographs and use special FX programs and this computer handles both with ease. I find myself not using my desktop much anymore because this can do it all. The screen is nice and the keyboard is high quality and with good tactile feel and response. I especially like that I can change the color of the backlighting to suit my needs. When I'm at home it's a simple matter of connecting it to an external keyboard and mouse, and with the HDMI and display ports I'm able to run dual monitors. I'm very impressed with the quality of this machine and don't see myself going back to the "name" brands with all of their bloatware (which is non-existent on this computer). If you're considering it, don't hesitate. Click on that buy button. You won't be sorry!

I'm not a gamer, i needed speed and this delivers. I use a lot of open tabs at once for works, 50-100, with videos running and various programs running all at the same time and it doesn't miss a beat. I've seen a few negatives about the battery life, but with so much speed it's expected. I love it and the price is more than fair. Will never go back to Dell.

I had several issues with the computer at first but the excellent prostar team contacted me after I left feedback and are going to exchange my computer for one that works and are going to cover the costs to ship it.
