Perfection
I'm pretty sure this model has been discontinued and replaced by a newer model, but I love it so much, that I felt compelled to write a review anyway, even though mine is almost 6 years old at this point. The Cuisinart Two to Go is the most perfect coffee maker I have owned for this purpose. I am the sole coffee drinker in my household, and generally I like just one cup of coffee a day, occasionally two. I've tried out "pod" machines, and although they are great machines, the ones I liked were more wasteful than I cared for. This thing was cheap, so I was a little hesitant at first. But, it works perfectly, and continues to work perfectly 6 years later. I have a burr coffee grinder that I use every morning to measure out the right amount for me, use a #2 filter, pour water into the reservoir, and hit the brew button, and in a few minutes, I have a perfect cup of coffee. The two mugs it comes with are also superb (I even use them for days I go to Starbucks). They are a great design, feel great in the hand, and the top is perfect. It will even brew with the top on the thermos, so your coffee will stay hot from the instant it enters the mug.I saw some older reviews talking about clogging issues. I have to say, in the nearly 6 years I've been using it, I have never, ever, ever had any issues with clogging due to grounds ending up outside the filter. Well, I'm not saying I've never ended up with grounds on the outside of the filter, but I'm not particularly cautious when I'm making my coffee, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's happened (though I've never noticed grounds in my coffee before). Again, I'm not super cautious or anything, but I've never had a single issue with this thing. The only thing I can imagine is maybe other folks have used very course grounds.I have zero complaints about this unit. I love it, love it, love it. It was cheap, I've been using it for well over 5 years, and if it holds up, I will continue to use it for 5 more.I wish I would have bought more when this model was still being made, but I have a feeling I'm not going to need a new one for a very long time. Great job, Cuisinart!!

The best cofee maker for people on the GO
Normally, I don't like to review products so quickly, but for this one I felt I needed to. This is a great invention, and for me, gives me those precious minutes of sleep time in the morning. The actual coffee maker is very simplistic in design, which is a good thing. There are no bells and whistles, no timer, no coffee grinder, no clock, but if you want that, get something else, and probably 3 times more expensive. This thing does one thing, and one thing only. One cup of good tasting coffee in a flash. It's the easiest coffee maker I have ever owned. All you have to do is, drop in about 4 tablespoons of coffee, fill up the reservoir with water a little above the "1" line, and turn it on. In what seems to be about 3 minutes your coffee is ready to go. No real cleanup, just throw the filter away and it's done. The good things: Easy cleanup, no cleaning of coffee carafes, makes a great tasting cup quickly. Note:I have yet to try the double maker. The bad and these are minor issues: no drip stop mechanism on for the coffee maker. If it's not completely finished and you take your cup out, you will get coffee drips on the base. The 2 supplied coffee thermos' are decent but they don't hold the heat all that well and they don't have a no drip tab. Go to starbucks and get a real one.It comes with 3 paper #2 filters but I think it should have come with a gold permanent filter. I bought one and they are about 10$.Thanks for reading

Perfect for Two On the Go
My husband and I received this as a gift years ago, and we love it so much we got rid of our regular carafe coffee maker. This is certainly not the appropriate appliance for making a large pot to sip throughout the day or share with several people, but it does exactly what it suggests - brews two hot cups, straight into travel mugs. It's perfect for simple brewing in the morning. Pour in the water, place the cups, dump in the coffee, and push the button. It brews very quickly. No carafe to wash, either. We decided to get the Gold Tone filter to use instead of disposable paper filters, so that makes two things to wash out in the morning, but still a small price to pay for being environment-friendly. The cups keep the coffee hot for a pretty long time - almost too long for me! The lid is well-designed, too. Just make sure you press it down tightly or it'll dribble out. The coffee does come out unevenly when you're making two cups, just by a little, but not enough to worry about one overflowing. I'm about to order a new one - ours just broke because I dropped it from a height of four feet and it just couldn't take that kind of abuse. I like this coffee maker so much I am willing to wait to have it shipped all the way to Hawaii rather than buy a different appliance locally that I could have today.
