M-D Building Products 48927 36 in. Unfinished Hardwood Trans Tile/Carpet w/Anchors & Screws

Product was not suitable for staining, it is not first quality wood. I planned to paint, and maybe fill what can't resolved by sanding alone. Required some sanding because saw marks and irregularities in the wood. The product that I received was not bent or warped. It was level, sturdy solid wood. I am very satisfied with it, and especially the low price. I am using it as an interior toe kick to help level and support entry door sill plate.

It was east to cut and install

Forget the plastic bracket just glue and nail down. Also perfect height for my 3/4" level change.

Transition arrived with a crack going down more than half the length of it. I didn't realize until I removed the packaging.

I needed an attractive transition from tile in the bathroom to carpet in the hall, this did the job perfectly. My husband had to make some cuts/notches to fit the contours of the door frame & clean up overflow grout, but that was not a big job for him.

Not that I needed it to be the full advertised length but once end had already been cut down.

This hardwood tile to carpet transition piece looks great stained and is just the perfect transition piece we needed to join our tile floors to the carpet. We cut it down to fit the door opening, installed as instructed, and voila! That's all it took to make it work.
