These are like candy, no really read the package. I had bought these thinking they would be a good replacement for P90X Protein bars at half the cost per bar.... Well they are delcious, don't get me wrong. These are probably the best tasting bars I've ever had. The peanut butter is delicious, as is the chocolate. However, these bars are really for people hiking or in long term physical activity.They have higher sugar/fat content than P90x protein bars and I guess for that they weren't good for my weight loss.I will say they are good if you need a quick meal supplement. I have a tenancy to not eat much but my blood sugar goes down, having one or two of these nearby helps me during that wait for a meal to be finished or delivered.

I've been a clif bar user for a while now, they make a great snack or energy boost when you just want something quick and easy. I like to throw one of these in my lunchbox for a snack during the workday, and if I'm going to a disc golf tournament I'll make sure I have at least one in my bag for between rounds. The 3 flavors in this pack are all solid. I do wish there was a variety pack with some of the other flavors(like chocolate brownie) I usually just end up buying a stand a lone box of some of the other flavors. You can't beat the subscribe and save price at just about $1 a bar its way cheaper to buy on here than in store.

I did. It was cheaper by about 10-cents a bar, and I was happy. The only problem was they wanted me to subscribe to a 12-pack instead of a 24-pack. Instead, to overcome that "problem" I halved the time between shipments. So now, my previous "unavailable" shipment suddenly becomes available at a higher price and is "ready to ship immediately", and the cheaper doubled order is back-ordered already more than a week over due. The current shipment of THIS item is due to arrive on the 26th (but it has already shipped and it is the 19th), so I'll be getting this one early for sure. Here's the problem: I tried for two days to cancel this order BEFORE shipment -- HEY, the back-ordered cheaper ones should have shipped by now (were due to be shipped 5 days ago), and Amazon tells me their cancellation operation for this product is "not working today, try back in a few minutes". I do this several times a day for a few days.Now, I really like the product (makes a great breakfast with my coffee, but a bit too sweet for my tastebuds), but I don't need 2 boxes of 12 and this box of 24 shipped all on the same day... presuming the other two boxes that are back ordered will ever ship, I'm not canceling because they are much cheaper. What am I (and one other in my household) going to do with 40 fat-bars lying around, not to mention that I buy other brands of similar for variety?Okay, I like the product, but I'm so annoyed at Amazon's inability to deal with the way they handled this order, I think I'll return it just for spite, because the way they let you adjust your order shipment and/or cancel is NOT AT ALL working very well -- actually, it hardly works at all, this is NOT the first time or even the second or third time Amazon has screwed up a mistake on their part with regards to an order. (About a year ago, they shipped my entire order to the wrong address, even though I verified on the shipment online that it was shipping to the correct address.) That cost me about $50 in products. Since it shipped to my son's address, I just let him keep the goodies as a "gift".Amazon really does a great job of letting you ORDER items, they are pretty horrible when it comes to fixing errors or adjusting botched orders. Buyer beware!Oh, the energy bars: They make a great filling meal. Don't think you are getting anything "diet" though, they are high in carbs and sugars and relatively low on protein for what you get. I don't know what ingredient(s) they put in it that sometimes burns my mouth... possibly ground nuts. I LOVE, but have an allergy to raw walnuts and hazel nuts and large amounts of citrus products, each of which in highly concentrated forms leaves blisters inside my mouth. (The coffee I drink with a bar does a great job of washing the sting away, though.) The "organic" ingredients ought to make anyone happy, if that is more important to you instead of carbs and sugar and protein content.I buy a variety of energy bars for a snack or full meal, that I eat either for breakfast, or as a late afternoon snack. I'd hate to eat these all the time, but with a variety of a number of brands, these are good to add to your mix of this kind of "snack" or "meal substitute".An individual bar is plenty large enough to share with a friend and still get good filling satisfaction eating just half. (I like the flavor and nutritional value of ProMax energy bars better, but they are a bit dense and I can't eat a whole bar and wonder what to do with the rest of it after opening it.)Enjoy!

These are hard to find at stores so I came to Amazon! I use these Cliff Bars for running and camping. I just recently competed in my first marathon, and I used these to help refuel during the race. They taste great and helped me a great deal. I have another there run and trip coming up and these are going be really handy!

I bought the variety pack to have around in case I needed that little extra getting through a long day at work, prior to a workout, or for recovery. They're really tasty and the variety pack gives you options so you can have something new all the time. I haven't found them to be messy at all, like some others remarked about here. I had been using the Clif Builder's Bars prior to these and they are really good too, but I think I'm going to give these a try for a while longer. I really like them so far and I'd recommend them.

We eat these before working out or if we don't have time for breakfast. They come in so many flavors that you never get bored eating them and they taste really good

I just returned from a year-long trip that took me around the jungles and beaches of Papua New Guinea, and this product was part of my pack. I was in a part of the world where folks didn't usually have enough to eat, so supplementing these in my diet helped keep me healthy without putting a burden on my host families. They pack well and last forever. I rationed a number of these packs to last the year (1 bar every other day), and they did the trick.Protip: Get the variety pack if you're going to be off the grid for a while. There's nothing worse than getting a single flavor and having to eat it day after day. Even pizza gets old if you have the same thing everyday.

Don't pay attention to that one star review, it's a spammer, shill for another product. These are great bars. Lots of people recommend these over competing products. I've done entire dayrides eating only this stuff and they're great for recovery too. One every hour while riding keeps me going all day and no stomach issues. I always carry some with me even when I'm not riding, they're a great snack in a hurry. I also like the way they taste. I used to buy them at BJ's but I'll subscribe to these at Amazon from now on.
