Can't beat the value
First off, for the price (around $30), this jack is actually pretty amazing. Especially compared to the $200-$350 jacks you can search for on Amazon. This is definitely not for the "professional mechanic" but more for the DIY guy/gal that would like to get to know a car more intimately. With that being said there are some flaws with this jack. It does have a bit of "toy" feel and look to it. Almost like you can't really believe you're entrusting it to lift your vehicle. On that note, this is literally a 2-ton only jack (sedan sized car). Do not try to lift anything higher than that. Even at 2-tons, it seems to struggle a bit. After reading some of the reviews for this jack, I can agree with many of the points being made. I recommend you do the following once you get your jack, and before you even lift anything,-Make sure all moving parts are properly lubricated on the jack. Manual states this and you should make sure that it is done. For my, the jack was already pretty well lubricated but I'd recommend taking a look.-Use the lever to lift up the jack (without a car!) first and try the release mechanism. As mentioned in other reviews, it is VERY sensitive and you should get used to it before you have a car on top of it. In general, turn it slow and steady. The jack itself has a dettachable lever arm that makes it easy to store (don't lose it). You may hear some noises when putting the vehicle up but for the most part it's normal (see preliminary steps above) unless you didn't check for lubrication or decided to lift an SUV. I personally would not leave a vehicle on this jack for long. You will notice that after a few inches the lever will get harder and harder to pump. The jack may make noises and even shift a little (if you're on asphalt or unstable ground). I quickly put it on jack stands and moved on. The height on the jack is also slightly low, about 12-13 inches(but for the price you tend to ignore that detail). It is still enough to get it on jack stands but maybe not as high as some people would like it. The wheels on the jack aren't the sturdiest wheels in the world so you may see some deformation when lifting the car but again, I wouldn't really recommend keeping the car on the jack for long.Overall, this is a great buy especially for the person that wants to do some quick repairs on a car during a weekend or a day off. I even keep this jack in my car (since it's not that big) for emergencies. You cannot find a better jack for the value of it. The only thing I would say is I highly recommend buying jackstands along with it. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I give it 5 stars but scaled to a cost comparison (I would not buy it if I had to pay $60 for it).

Simple, effective, and DURABLE!
After 6 months of occasional use, I've found this to be quite a product. A standard scissor jack was way too cumbersome to deal with regularly, so I upgraded to one of these (along with a set of double-locking JACK STANDS) to accompany my growing interest in working on cars. The lift itself is a quick and easy process. Plus, the entire jack is conveniently sized enough to store in my trunk - I've changed a blown tire roadside with this thing and was back on my way in under 10 minutes.A few have complained about the rapid depressurization (and consequent vehicle descent) when turning the release valve, but I haven't found it to be much of an issue at all so long as you're slow and deliberate. The pivoting wheels towards the handle end aren't as functional as I would like, but making sure they're directionally aligned before jacking does remedy the dragging problem I've experienced. The biggest foreseeable issue is the extended height of the jack. I have a pretty low vehicle, so it's not a problem at all; however, I WOULD certainly like to be able to raise it off the ground a bit more than this particular device allows.Otherwise, this thing is fantastic and has exceeded all expectation. I've probably used this jack around 50 times now over the last 6 months and it still looks/functions just as it did the very first time I tried it. No broken parts, no decrease in performance or utility. Great buy and highly recommended, especially for the "DIY" hobbyist like myself.

Not bad at all. Suited my needs just fine.
This jack worked as expected. As others mentioned, it goes up quickly and effortlessly. I had no problems raising my small subcompact car up high enough to put on my winter tires. HOWEVER, DO NOT purchase this jack if you need to jack your car up very high. This jack is not designed for that, and you will be disappointed.Honestly, the release mechanism isn't great, but it works fine. Other reviewers mentioned that it's easy to drop the car too fast - that may be, but having read their review ahead of time, I was sure to be careful. As long as you're careful/gentle about turning the release screw, you won't have any issues with your car falling too quickly. As for the noise... I didn't encounter any noise when jacking the car up. However, lowering the car is when this jack made some pretty disconcerting sounds. Not a big deal to me.Overall, it feels high quality, it gets the job done, and you can't beat the price. If you want to spend triple the price, of course you'll have a much higher quality jack that would be more suitable for larger vehicles ... that's not what this is, and if you're just like me and wanting to change/rotate tires, it does fine.

Good jack for the price
I bought this jack to replace the previously purchased Torin T90203 2 Ton Hydraulic Bottle Jack bottle jack that feels unsafe and flimsy for me and it was trouble to use it, so I returned it.This floor jack is really way much better, even it has some drawbacks, too. At least it feels safe and let me do my DIY car repairs much easier.Regarding the complains of another reviewer about the too fast release, they said you have to be very careful when turning the valve to release: that's true, but I think it is the normal precaution I have to do working with a 1.5 ton car. I did it carefully and it released the car so smoothly that it takes several seconds to even realize that it's going down. So, I couldn't find any problem with the release valve, it works fine.Pros:- Cheap (compared to professional floor jacks, like OTC)- feels sturdy enough- can lift the car really highCons:- rear wheels don't swivel easily, it's difficult to move it- under load it's hard to pump, the pump action is short, so takes many pumps to lift it, the lever is a little bit short.I give 5 stars considering that in its price range I couldn't expect more from a floor jack. It does what it should and if you need perfect tool, you should pay much more for it.
