THEY REALLY LAST 2000 HOURS
What counts is life expectancy. THIS BULB ALWAYS LASTS OVER 2000 HOURS IN OUR FIXTURES (average 2500 hours to date). And we never notice any significant dimming near end of life. I've tried some others that were cheaper or local Will-Call pickup, but they didn't last. Some died in just 3 days. Wasted money. Just remember two rules: be sure to NEVER touch the glass part of lamp, and don't bang them around. You will be happy.

they work
Not much to review as far as filling out the required 20 word minimum. They function. They are bright. The are hotter than Hades. When they burn out, the glass will sometimes melt and balloon out and harden that way- pretty cool in a "Bill Nye" sort of way.
