I wear an 8 1/4 size fitted hat. HUGE HEAD. I have 3 different types of halo head bands. They stay on my head once tied. They leave about an inch or two of slack.

How wide is the band (on your forehead)?

It's wide enough to cover your forehead. Goes from your hairline to the top of your eyebrows. I have about an average sized head. Not as big as I thought it would be though.

Is this machine washable?

Yes, it is machine washable. Suggest you air dry the headband.

What is the length of the band?

Just so you know it stretches if you overstretch it carefully it will fit any head. I wear size 8 1/4 fitted which is almost unheard of.
