BUGS INSIDE EATING THE GRAIN!!! Do not buy!!!! I've had it since 2016 and have microwaved it for 1.5min each time to use as a cramps warm compress and kept it by my pillow when not in use, and God knows how many months later I start finding hundreds of little oblong beige bugs that I first thought were LICE crawling around mainly my headboard and my pillows... I couldn't figure out what was causing this as I'm quite clean, until I happened to microwave the owl plush one more time...... THOUSANDS of WEEVILS escaped the plush and ended up coming out of the owl and died right in my microwave tray!! OMG! The worst part was that nuking the weevils in the microwave for 2 full mins apparently didn't kill all of them, and some were still crawling around when I opened the microwave door. Makes sense they were feeding on the grain inside of the plush, but that just goes to show how improper the grain treatment processing was!! EEWWW!!! Straight in the garbage the owl plush went, and I spent 4 hours on a work night throwing all my linens and myself in a thorough hot water wash... Omfg worst night ever. NEVER BUY THIS PLUSH UNTIL THE COMPANY GETS RID OF THE GRAIN FILL AND USES A SYNTHETIC FILL! :X

This is one of the greatest things I've ever purchased from Amazon. You pop this sucker in the microwave for 60 seconds, and you have yourself a toasty warm owl buddy to fix all your life's problems. Are you a single 20 year old with a need for a snuggle buddy? Then, this is the product for you, my friend. It smells better than a boyfriend, cause it's filled with lavender. It looks better than a boyfriend, cause it comes in this adorable array of colors. It doesn't complain like a boyfriend, cause it's a stuffed animal, and those suckers don't talk. Basically, I'm really single and alone, and this owl sometimes makes me feel better about my life. Therefore, anyone who is sad and alone should purchase one too, and maybe, for the one hour this guy stays warm, they also will no longer feel sad and alone.

My girlfriend has named this little guy Frederick. She loves him dearly as he is her comfort during abdominal cramps. Unfortunately now I have to watch her prance around with Frederick sticking out of the waistband of her panties several days a month, like some unholy pouched "Owl-laby" monstrosity. Bit at least the lady love is happy.

Be careful not to get wet. This is our second of these. The first one met a horrible ugly demise at the hands of being left outside in the rain. It is full of flax seeds. When wet they expand and get a bit slimy. Not cool to find a bloated owl outside after a rainshower.The lavender scent is very strong fresh out of the package but fades quickly. I would suggest periodically placing in the freezer overnight to kill and dust mites. Overall a well loved friend for my 5 yr old.

My sister gave me one of these a couple years ago - at the time, I thought, why do I need a stuffed animal? And now in the fall/winter, I don't know how I ever lived without my Hooty Owl! I have severe Raynauds in my hands & this little guy has been an absolute God send for keeping my hands warm. 90 seconds in the microwave & he's all set for about 20-30 minutes. It's lovely having the warm owl on tummy as I'm sitting on the couch with my hands on top of him, especially when the weather gets cold - haven't used him at all since the Spring but we're getting close to September & I know I will again soon. Just purchased one for a friend who also has Raynauds & is now moving to upstate NY - I know she'll need this little guy up there. If you have Raynauds, trust me - this is an adorable life/hand saver!!

I purchased 2 of these adorable little plush owls. Both came in perfect condition. The weight of them is not too heavy, yet not too light and good size. I find myself always grabbing these soft owls every day since getting them. They give me comfort just holding them or carrying them around the house. I haven't tried heating them up. I'm not sure I'm brave enough to put these cute things in the microwave. I love the lavender scent even though it fades over time. Both my owls need more scent to them because I love the scent and will need to get more.

I got this as part of a get well gift for my dad, who recently had knee surgery. He has been/will be laid up for about 6-8 weeks, and will need to ice his knee periodically. I thought the Hooty would be a cute and functional gift. When the package arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy this was. It definitely has a good heft to it, which is what you would want when icing (or heating) it up to keep in in place.My dad loves it, every time I stop over he is using it. He said it keeps cool for quite a long time, and he really likes the weight of it. I am so happy with this purchase, I might even go out and get one for myself.

We absolutely love Mr Owl! He comforts us when we have belly aches, back pains or simply when we need help to go to sleep. The lavender has a great therapeutic effect and helps to relax. NEVER try to wash Mr Owl in the washing machine and NEVER put it in the microwave longer than 2 mn... We are on our 3rd Mr Owl because of those two reasons...

Appreciated by its recipient at xmas. Apparently smell nicely of lavender and easy to use (after you've found and removed the little plastic tag in it),stays warm for quite a while and wafts the smell of lavender about.In my opinion needs a different smell to waft around, Rose Blossom, Peach, Vanilla or maybe Apple & Cinnamon.

She was really happy with it. Second of these I've ordered. First one has held up well as it's typically used in bed and gets slept on.

L'odeur est quasiment inexistante après qql utilisations. La chaleur se dissipe trop rapidement a mon goût. Je ne m'en sert que pour mettre dans la poussette de ma fille pour de courts trajets. Impossible de tenir la chaleur une nuit entière
