Excellent quality
It takes a few washes to get soft, but after that they will be perfect for years to come. They will never peel. They do need to dry in low.

These are the sheets I have been looking years for!
So let me start by saying out of the package these sheets are stiff and thick, like almost denim thick. Even after 3 washings they are still stiff, but I know over time these are going to be thick soft, long lasting sheets. The stitching is pretty good and I have a 15 in mattress and they fit just fine, even after a few washings. The elastic goes all around the edges of the fitted sheet. Also they didn’t bleed color when I washed them, and considering they are dark red that is amazing. If you are looking for a set of thick sheets that are going to last and just get softer and softer, these are the sheets for you, especially for the price. I am planning on buy another set for myself and a set for my daughter.Edit: So I bought a second set of these sheets and they are just as amazing as the first set. The yellow set are a california queen size rather then a regular queen size, but are just as nice. Even though they are really thick they are very smooth and soft. Over the years I have bought quite a few sets of sheets, looking for this quality. I will have to say, if you are looking for thin sheets, these are not it, but if you want thick quality sheets that will last, look no further..

Soft feel
This item has a soft feel and rates up there with the higher thread counts. Worth the cost to have the best night time sleep.

My Long Search For Sheets--And Coffee Beans
I've been trying to replicate a really nice set of sheets I bought at Belk's over twenty years ago. I thought they were percale, and so have wasted quite of bit of money on percale sheets here. The thread counts of the sheets varied and so did the advertised sizes. Most of them did not fit my mattress with the four inch memory foam topper and while they were comfortable enough, they never really matched my personal standard of the Belk's sheets. I decided to try sateen instead and bought a set of these Pizuna Linen's sheets and they are exactly what I was looking for. I now have four sets of these in different lovely colors; I waited a while to review them to see if they held up well after washing, and they do. They fit my bed perfectly and are such a complement to my colorful machine quilted country style bedspread. I realize it was quite a bit of money to spend, but I got tired of the interminable sheet searching. They do wrinkle somewhat, but I don't use fabric softener in the wash, only a sheet occasionally in the dryer. I wash in cold water and dry on delicate cycle with as little heat as possible and remove as soon as I can. Customer reviews are very subjective in nature, I realize. I had as many problems trying to research sheets as I did coffee beans....I think my long search for sheets is over, at least for a good while. As for the coffee beans--I am still searching!Edit: 2/1/2020 : I just gave in and ordered another set of these in Pine Green, so that makes 5 sets. I am officially declaring myself obsessive/compulsive about these sheets. This is my last set, as now I probably will not live long enough to need more sheets unless I have a smaller bed in my assisted living space someday. :0)

Really nice quality cotton
I shopped for sheets before we had our split king Sleep Number mattresses delivered. I was fortunate to find these at a time when they had a discount coupon that gave 25% off, so I ordered them. I thought they were so nice after I had received, washed and dried them that I wanted to get another set, even though I didn't yet know how well they'd fit the mattresses. But the coupon was still there, and I figured if they didn't fit perfectly, I could always return the second set unopened. It was then that I discovered that the discount coupon was only good for the navy blue sheets I had chosen, and while I would have liked another color, I bought a second set in navy, as the price was unbeatable! And when the mattresses came, the fit was fine, so I decided to keep both sets. Hopefully they'll last a long time rotating between them. They feel very luxurious, and are just what we wanted. They definitely do need washing before use to take away a somewhat funky odiferous quality noticeable on initial unpacking.I understand these are just the standard size on these sheets, but I would make a minor quibble and suggest that in general, the top sheet in a split king set would be better off being a bit wider than a regular king top sheet, because when you're lying on a flat mattress and your sleeping partner has the foot and/or head portion raised, there is barely enough sheet to cover both of you.I've never had 1000 thread count sheets before, but must add that these are the first sheets I've owned that I can't see daylight through when I hold them between my face and the window. All in all, we're very pleased with these purchases.

Rubbish, quite literally!
Fortunately or unfortunately I never had the chance to sleep with this set as someone in my complex stole my packages. How do I know this, You might ask. I just came in from putting my rubbish in the shared dumpster and low and behold I see lavender fabric just under a pampers box, which should be in recycling. With some hesitation I pulled on the fabric and it was a brand new, with creases, pillowcase with the Pizuna Royale tag. The fabric could not be 1000 TC long staple cotton as described as it feels like canvas and it was not smooth or soft. So in a way, I’m happy we have a thief in the complex. They saved me the time and aggravation of returning. I’ll stick with Fieldcrest for my bedding needs. Thank you Amazon for issuing a prompt and full refund.

Tight!!
A bit tight because my bed has a huge feather bed over the mattress. It seems to be a bit smaller than a true queen mattress.
