What Is A Disaster?: New Answers to Old Questions Paperback – Illustrated, March 4, 2005

I needed this book for my Intro to Emergency Management Theory course. As far as textbooks go, this was a very good read. Lots of different information to sort through, but I learned so much.

The book is both insightful and direct. Unfortunately every fifth or sixth page was falling out. The binding is terrible!

Very good book on the sociological aspect of disaster management

An incredibly dry read.
