WaterFine Acrylic Primer is a one-pack anti-corrosive primer based on an acrylic emulsion. As primer on steel, galvanised steel and aluminium above waterline. The product is quick drying and give good corrosion protection in mildly to moderate corrosive environments. May be over-coated with water borne acrylics, solvent borne acrylics, alkyds, epoxies and polyurethane paints. Key Features:  Can be used as primer or mid coat in atmospheric environments. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, shopprimed steel, concrete and a range of aged coating surfaces. One component physically drying waterborne acrylic coating. Application Method: Airless / Conventional Spray, Brush or Roller Surfaces: Marine - Accommodation, Engine Room, Topside, Superstructure VOC Level: 43g / Litre Coverage: 2.3m² / Litre Dry Touch: 40 Minutes @ 10°C / 15 Minutes @ 40°C Over-Coating: 2 Hours 3 Minutes @ 10°C / 1 Hour @ 40°C Maintenance Cycle: 2 Years Thinning & Cleaning: Water Number of Coats: 2 "Surface Preparation: All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from contamination. The surface should be assessed and treated in accordance with ISO 8504. Bare steel: Blast-cleaning to Sa 21⁄2 (ISO-8501-1:1988). Power tool cleaning to min. St 2 (ISO 8501-1:1988) may be acceptable, subjected to exposure conditions. Shopprimed steel: Clean, dry and undamaged approved shopprimer.
