Waterman Harley Davidson Horizon Blue Roller Ball Pen

I have the ball point version of this pen so I'll speak to that. The ballpoint cartridge that comes with the pen is not nearly as effortless for writing as say the Parker refills are.The plastic Harley tank case is neat but that's about all you can say about it. I tossed it.The design of the ballpoint pen is terrific, however the execution is a bit lacking. The chrome plating is quite imperfect between the cylinder head fins. There is quit a bit of flash or extra plating that fills the area between the fins. You might call them drips.There ergonomics are less than ideal for regular use. I feel this is due to the plastic barrel which does not offset the heavier top of the pen.If I had paid anywhere close to 70.00 I would be returning it. Since I bought it used on eBay, I'm happy with it.Overall is a mediocre writer and cheap feeling pen. But it looks like a Harley Shovelhead!!! And the push rods are the clip! So it really is neat and worth buying on the cheap for the way it captures the mechanical elegance of Harley Davidson.I imagine Waterman makes much nicer pens so I'll not judge them from this single mediocre experience.
