Sauder Beginnings Trestle Table with Benches

Great for confined spaces. I keep one side of the table folded against a wall and use two regular dining chairs with it. I put together one of benches and stored it under the folded side for use when I have visitors. There's only two of us at home and this work for us.

Good kitchen table for a couple and 1-2 kids. Tucks away nicely. Good for serving breakfast and snacks. The leafs give it a different transformation.

The table top may be heat, stain, and scratch resistant, but it's not WATER resistant! The top layer is nothing but a big sticker over particle board. At the edges and in the dropping parts, (at the edge of the sticker) you can't leave water for more than a couple minutes without it ruining the table permanently. We have one big bulge, and many small ones. The table is very pretty until you get it wet. Also, the benches are top heavy, not very stable, and we cannot use them with our 2 and 4 year old children. We would have returned it, but could not find all the little parts (screws, etc) to return it.

The shipping treatment that this package received is utterly disgusting. I just got this today and upon opening the package saw several dents, scratches, and extensive damage to the product. After paying $200 for it, I don't even want to put it together, I just want my money back!

Great durable table! This table is heavy, sturdy and durable. It looks great and easy to clean. It fits my two little boys and my husband and I great! Awesome for small dinning areas and I love that I can drop down the sides when I want even more space. I also made the benches better my adding cushions that I made out of body pillows :) So much less then buying actual bench cushions!
