My First I Can Draw

Nice book for beginners

I cannot explain how happy I am that this book exists! We got a pad of paper a few months back that had similar super simple drawing instructions on the cover (there were only 2 animals) and my son LOVED it. I've been looking for a book like this ever since, and found that most are much more complicated. This book is EXACTLY what we needed, and my son had to show his grandpa his grasshopper today on Facetime he was so excited about it! Things that make this book great:-The steps for each animal are simple and easy to follow-LOTS of space to practice and draw many versions of each animal (my son decided he would draw one on each page so he can go back and add more later when he does it again when he "runs out of pages")-Cute backgrounds that provide opportunity for imagination on the pages-There are a LOT of pages (160) which means lots of things to draw!

I work with young children with Autism. Drawing is usually quite a challenge for them for a multitude of reasons, a bit one being knowing where to start a drawing. This book breaks down pictures into simple steps that they can follow. Great quality paper and illustrations!

Tiene mucho más hojas de las que pensé. Los pasos son sencillos, perfecto para que los más pequeños de la casa se inicien en el dibujo! La calidad es maravillosa. Este libro superó mis expectativas por mucho.

it's really good

This is a winner! I bought this my 5 yo grandson. We are having so much fun and makes success easy. I am chronicling his progress through the book. He colored heavily in marker and it didn’t bleed through to the following page. Hands down my go to book for little friends.
