I previously had the older version of these (1131-31) and I had some big gripes. Overall, I liked the fit, how snuggly and effectively they fit in the ear, and the slim, durable design. But the sound quality was not where it should be and the buttons on the mic control were awful. Not being able to push the buttons was a constant source of frustration and were part of the reason I was actually relieved when I lost these while traveling.After trying (and returning) several much more expensive earbuds, I came back to this comfortable little guys to see if they had been improved over the last two years... and they have!The 1151s are a big improvement and fixed everything I didn't love about the previous. Seems like they really figured out where all of the weak points were (they were glaring) and fixed them in the 1151. What you get is pretty close to perfect. Sounds quality is good, design is phenomenal, and I will be buying these again if I ever lose them again.

I really love these headphones. They do not move once they are in your ears. The sound is amazing. There are a couple of things that save them from a perfect 5 stars:1. There is some cord noise when I am running. Not a lot, but it can be noticeable in softer music passages2. The microphone button is a bit heavy on the left earbud. Again, during my runs, I noticed a little bit of slippage, but not a lot and they didn't fall out.3. Because of their snug fit in my ear, care must be taken to avoid removing them by the earbud cord.I have previously usedMeelectronics SportFi 6, which I didn't stay in during runs and hurt my ears after 1 hourSennheiser/Adidas Cx 685 which were terrific and lasted 2+ years, but finally broke, but the sound quality was only okay.I decided on the Sol Republic Relay Sports, because I have JAX headphones that have awesome sound. These relays will likely replace my JAX for everyday listening as well, because of the fit and feel.Time will tell if they last based on other reviews.

Great set of earphones. They are just as described by the company. They fit snuggly in the ears and don't hurt. I run marathons, so I need a pair of earphones I can wear for a long time, and these appear to do the job. They come nicely packaged too! I purchased the 3 button model hoping to use the volume control, but my phone is an android and this function won't work with it. But you can pause a track with the button. Just be aware if you want to utilize all the features of the 3 buttons, you need an I-phone. I also got recommended to this product from PC magazine, which compared several side my side, and this one won there praise.

I would give these headphones 4 starts if they lasted longer than a month and a half. I wore them at the gym maybe 3 times a week and used them at work also and they worked great! Sound quality was very good but the one ear bud stopped working already. I bought these hoping they would last at least a couple months, considering the 20 dollar ones i buy at the store usually stop working within 2 months also.

Sound output is AMAZING, they don't fall out, looks great, they don't fall out, comfortable fit and they don't fall out of your ear!2 stars are missing because I was expecting a pouch like what I got from the previous model, the shirt clip is not adjustable and in an awkward position and the volume control does not work with my Windows phone (the last one is my fault for not reading the whole description). I should have bought the single button version with pouch (1152-31)I'm still happy with the purchase.

Bought these after reading Wirecutter's ratings of these as best workout headphones. I don't workout a lot, but like to have headphones when I am on the elliptical.These sound great and feel great. Really like how comfortable they are on my ears. The clip on these headphones has been a big plus because my other headphones used to fall out of my ears when I was working out. These stay in and the cable doesn't stray.

Sound is not bad, but earbuds simply will not stay in ear. After about 1 minute of running they slip out. Other reviewers did not seem to have this problem so can't figure out why. Also, the remote is really hard to work. As soon as I try to depress the button, the earbuds pull out. Also, the button itself is quite stiff and hard to push in effectively. Finally, be careful to buy the three button unit for an iPhone and not the single button unit. The descriptions on Amazon (and elsewhere) does not make clear that the single button unit, while compatible with iPhone, will not allow you to change the volume.

I am an athlete and I workout with these 5-6 days per week; sunny days, rainy days, snowy days and everything in between. They deal with all the elements. Generally they last between 6-12 months, but I put them through the grinder, so I am happy with them given the price point. They also have a warranty and their customer support is responsive and super accommodating.

As a DJ I've used many of headphones over the years.. Then a friend mentioned trying these out on a main stage... I've never enjoyed nor have ever found in-ear headphones that work this well and for this price... Usually in-ears are crap until you get into top dollar. These are amazing and have used them mainstage and and with all the noise I had no problems...Would recommend to anybody including DJ's that prefer the in-ear headphone!

Edit: Replacing my old review... I had a pair for 6 months and the left ear volume and sound fidelity started to fail, which had not happened on a previous pair I owned. Sent an e-mail to customer support, they immediately shipped me a new pair.I picked these up because they are very low profile, sitting flat inside the ear - can be worn with helmets, winter hats, or anything that covers the ear. Not many earbuds sit this flat and still sound decent.

Tuve la versión anterior y estaba muy contenta con ellos. Los mejores que he tenido en cuanto a sujeción en el oído, calidad de sonido correcta, muy buen funcionamiento como manos libres. Incluso aguantaron usándolos bajo una lluvia moderada varias veces. Me han durado casi 4 años. Al final, se estropeó el micro después de correr 2 horas bajo un diluvio... y aun así, como auriculares, siguen funcionando.Ahora bien, este nuevo modelo, nada que ver en cuanto a resultado. Los he usado durante 4 meses, no los he usado ni una vez lloviendo, y ya no funcionan. De repente un día después de una llamada que no atendí, el mando se volvió loco: sin tocarlo, devolvió la llamada, pasaba la música deprisa, activaba el control por voz... En la siguiente llamada que realicé, yo oía ruido de fritura y el interlocutor no oía nada. Poco después, ya se escucha el ruido de fritura incluso si los uso sólo para oír música. Devueltos.
